The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reyes blocks a head kick by Badam.
Badam misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Reyes throws a head kick that misses and Badam counters with a slapping leg kick. Reyes throws a head kick that misses and Badam counters with an outside leg kick.
A head kick by Reyes misses and Badam counters with a big head kick but Reyes shrugs it off. Badam scores with a three punch combo!

Reyes throws a lazy head kick and Badam counters with a nice low kick that buckles Reyes's knee momentarily. Badam throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Badam can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. That's one minute gone in the round. Badam wants to stand up but Reyes has a hold of him and won't allow it. Reyes moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Reyes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Badam doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Reyes is tightening it up a little... Badam has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Badam reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Badam taps out! nice BJJ there by Reyes!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horton looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Horton stopping the sweep attempt from Freese. Horton postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Freese is looking for a triangle but Horton pushes his legs off easily.
Freese is looking for a triangle here but Horton uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Freese gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Horton trying to control the action but Freese is working from the bottom. Freese gets full guard. Horton wants to control from the top but Freese keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Freese has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Horton is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Freese. Freese is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Horton off and has taken his back! Freese looking for the choke from the back. Freese is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Horton knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Horton for a finish. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Freese patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Freese is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Horton trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Horton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Freese. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. I really don't envy Horton right now.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Freese has his opponent's back but Horton is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Freese. Freese will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Freese throws a right hand that Horton ducks under and follows up with a left that Horton also avoids with ease. Horton fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Freese sprawls well initially but Horton persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Freese is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Freese gets back to full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Freese has his foot on Horton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Horton works his way back into a safe position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Freese jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Freese is pushing down on Horton's leg trying to pass to half guard. Horton is fighting to maintain full guard but Freese has managed to sneak the leg through. Horton wants to get back to his feet.

It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Freese extends the arm and Horton is forced to tap!

Silva takes the fight into the clinch. Raider manages to break the clinch.
Raider closes the distance but Silva moves to the side and Silva counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Raider fails to land with a series of punches.
Raider shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silva's guard. Silva throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Raider slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Raider stands up and we're back to a striking position. Silva takes the fight into the clinch. Silva pulls guard effortlessly. Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Raider gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Raider misses with a takedown attempt - Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Raider gets a takedown into half guard. Silva gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Raider.

Raider Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Silva's back instead. Silva trying to control the hands but Raider won't let him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Raider gets his way!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Raider stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Raider with a lazy takedown attempt and Silva counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Silva fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Raider on the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Raider looks to clinch and Silva counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Silva. Raider escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Raider is working for takedown but Silva is calmly controlling the position for now. Raider goes for a takedown attempt but Silva pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Let's see what he's got on the mat. Raider keeping moving, preventing Silva from controlling successfully. Silva is pushing down on Raider's leg trying to pass to half guard. Raider is fighting to maintain full guard but Silva has managed to sneak the leg through. Raider is looking to escape. Raider is not content to let Silva control the position. Silva trying to mount his opponent but Raider defends it. Raider wants to get back to his feet.

Silva working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Raider manages to regain half guard. Good work. Raider is trying to stand back up but Silva is controlling him

And that's the end of the fight! Vitor Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Me.
Me is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.
Jones closes the distance but Me moves to the side and Me counters with a one-two to the body. Me drops Jones with a nice combination! Me dives into Jones's guard, looking to finish!
Jones is rocked! Me knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground. Me controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Jones has a closed guard, preventing Me from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Me trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet. Jones has his foot on Me's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Me works his way back into a safe position though. Me trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jones's guard. Jones is looking to stand up but Me isn't so interested in that idea. Me might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jones wants to clinch and Me counters by clinching up. Me is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Me misses with an elbow over the top. Me slows down the pace here.
Me has had enough of the clinch but Jones keeps him there for the moment. Me wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

It looks like Raphael Jones has been cut. A left and a right from Me both land. Nice combination. Me lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Jones on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Me finish him? Jones dodges the punch combination from Me.
Jones seems to have recovered his senses. Me lands a nice shot that snaps Jones's head back.

Jones takes one to the chin there. Me tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A combination from Me does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Me rushes Jones and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Me prevents Jones from breaking the clinch. Me is stalling here.
Me wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Me wants to break the clinch but can't.

Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Me, as that shot connected.
Jones dodges the punch combination from Me.
Mini Me is winning the standup battle so far. Jones misses with an uppercut. Me saw that one coming. Me catches Jones with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Me circles away from the clinch attempt and Me decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jones's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Me wants to get up but he can't break Jones's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Me sitting in guard here, content to control. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Me trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jones's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jones is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Raphael Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jones looking for a guillotine here but Me defends easily.
Me wants to stand but Jones is controlling his posture from full guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Owens connects with a good right hand that stumbles Strader. Strader circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Strader missing with a left hand there. Owens was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Owens keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Strader on the wrong end of a nice hook. Owens tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Strader paws at him with a jab and circles away. Strader throws a hook to the side of Owens's head but Owens sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Owens scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Owens connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Strader! He's out on his feet! Owens rushes in and drops Strader with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Hoft throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Vidal works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Vidal is looking for a triangle but Hoft pushes his legs off easily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hoft's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Hoft trying to control but Vidal is working from the bottom. Hoft is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Vidal is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Vidal has escaped and now he's on top! Vidal pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hoft is keeping the position for now. Hoft knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vidal on the ground. Vidal is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Hoft working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vidal doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vidal manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Chestnar has hold of Machida's hands but Machida slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Machida wants to pass the guard but Chestnar is defending well. Machida wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chestnar keeps working. Machida is pressing down on Chestnar's thigh, looking to free his foot. Chestnar is holding on for now. Chestnar tries to get to full guard but Machida has control of the leg. Chestnar is trying to control but can't.

Chestnar is in all sorts of trouble here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Machida moves in looking to clinch but Chestnar pushes him off. Chestnar gets the takedown into side control. Chestnar lands some shots froms side control. Machida is trying to improve his position. Machida takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Chestnar working the body and head with strikes. Chestnar lands a decent elbow from side control. Chestnar in side control, just content to control the action for now. Chestnar's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Chestnar seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Machida for as long as he can get away with. Machida is not content to let Chestnar control the position. Chestnar landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Long looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bruto is fending him off so far but Long persists. Nope, Bruto circles away and we're back to standing. Bruto keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Long shoots in for a double leg but Bruto sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brett Long. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bruto gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carbinson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Grounder's waist but Grounder gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Carbinson off to one side. Carbinson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Carbinson shoots for a takedown but Grounder saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Grounder closes the distance and clinches. Carbinson is trying to stall.

Grounder connects with a couple of short punches. Carbinson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Grounder creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A head punch on the inside from Carbinson fails to land. Now Carbinson has his back to the ropes. Carbinson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Grounder pulls his leg out and moves away.
