The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Simpson shoots in and drives through. Simon sprawls well. Simpson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Simon swivels and escapes. Simon wants to clinch. Jason Simpson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Simpson fails in his attempt to clinch. Simon fails in his attempt to clinch. Simpson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kyle Simon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Simpson. Simon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Simon showed some decent athleticism there. Simpson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Simon tries to clinch but Simpson is having none of it. Simpson throws and low kick but Simon moves out of range easily. Simon drives through and clinches with Simpson against the cage.

Simpson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Simon pulls him back up using the underhooks. Simpson looks gassed! Simon tries a knee to the head but Simpson blocks it.
Simpson wants to get back to striking at distance but Simon won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Simon landing knees to the head.
Simon breaks from the clinch.
Simpson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Simon moves into range and clinches up with Simpson. Simon lands with a short shot to the head. Simpson goes for a takedown attempt but Simon pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Simon lands a brutal head kick. Simpson looks out on his feet and Simon throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rodriguez shoots in but no luck this time. Rodriguez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jackson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rodriguez is fending him off so far but Jackson persists. Nope, Rodriguez circles away and we're back to standing. Jackson connects with the punch. Jackson blocks a head kick by Rodriguez.

The fight stays on the outside here - Rodriguez looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rodriguez shoots in and drives through. Jackson sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alonzo Rodriguez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jackson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rodriguez counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Rodriguez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rodriguez tries to clinch but Jackson moves out of range. Rodriguez shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense. Jackson lands a hook that stumbles Rodriguez back into the cage. Jackson follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Rodriguez to the canvas! Jackson pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Rodriguez has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chimaera shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Key as he jumps to the side. Key throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chimaera's waist but Key gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Key off to one side. Key closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Key has hold of Chimaera's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Chimaera seems comfortable defending it but Key has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Chimaera is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Chimaera is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Key couldn't care less - he's delighted!

The fighters roll with the hold and Yoshi manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Yoshi's guard. Yoshi wants to stand but Silva is controlling the position. Silva looking to pass the guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Yoshi wants to stand up but Silva is controlling him.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Yoshi tries a head kick but it misses.

Silva might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Yoshi kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Yoshi is trying to get back to his feet. Silva is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Yoshi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Silva working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Silva wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Yoshi, who protects the arm well.

Yoshi defending well though. Silva is working for a kimura but Yoshi is defending it quite comfortably.

Oukunokquo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Diaz moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Diaz scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Diaz could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Diaz is keen to just control but Oukunokquo is a slippery customer. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Diaz can do anything to dispel that myth. Oukunokquo is trying to maintain the position but Diaz is very close to passing his half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

He's in guard on the top - nicely done! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jew Jitsu working for a triangle but Marshall defends it easily.

Oh, the punch misses and Marshall has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Jew Jitsu manages to get his head free but now Marshall has transitioned to an armbar! Jew Jitsu grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Marshall! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trueman instigates a clinch. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - De Troyer has eaten all the pies! De Troyer tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. De Troyer stalling in the clinch but Trueman improves position. Trueman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. De Troyer scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. De Troyer is looking to advance position but Trueman won't allow it. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! De Troyer controlling the action here. Trueman is looking to escape. De Troyer decides to stand and escape the position. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from De Troyer. Nice sprawl there from Trueman as De Troyer shoots in. Trueman misses with a jab, cross combination.
De Troyer shoots in and drives through. Trueman sprawls well. Sean Trueman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Olivier De Troyer. De Troyer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Trueman pinned against the cage. Trueman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Trueman seems to be stalking De Troyer here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! De Troyer drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chiddell misses with a head kick.
Mulkerin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Chiddell throws a head kick but Mulkerin moves out of range.
Chiddell forces Mulkerin back against the cage and clinches. Chiddell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chiddell goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Mulkerin gets the takedown into side control. Mulkerin decides to take the fight back to the feet. Chiddell waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Mulkerin. Mulkerin scores with a nice right hand.
Mulkerin throws a right and a left that Chiddell avoids nicely. Chiddell throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Mulkerin blocks a head kick by Chiddell.
Chiddell throws a sloppy head kick and Mulkerin moves out of range easily. Chiddell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mulkerin throws the kick towards the body but Chiddell avoids it. A punch combination from Chiddell misses. Chiddell stalks Mulkerin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mulkerin's face. Mulkerin staggers backwards, shaken. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Chiddell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mulkerin fails with a takedown attempt. Chiddell stuffs the takedown attempt from Mulkerin. Mulkerin gets slowly back to his feet. Chiddell lands a nice hook to Mulkerin's body. Mulkerin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chiddell misses with the combination.

Chiddell throws a shot from downtown. Mulkerin moves away and avoids it. Mulkerin looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Chiddell has a closed guard, preventing Mulkerin from standing up. Mulkerin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mulkerin throws a strike but Chiddell rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Mulkerin thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Chiddell stands and steps away. Mulkerin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chiddell lands a lovely overhand right. Mulkerin shoots in but no luck this time. Luck Chiddell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Mulkerin. Mulkerin avoids the head kick by Chiddell.
Chiddell loads up on a big right hand but Mulkerin slips the punch. A punch combination from Chiddell misses. A punch combination from Mulkerin misses. Chiddell tries a head kick but it misses.
Mulkerin lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Luck Chiddell has been cut. Mulkerin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Chiddell at a distance.

Chiddell takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chiddell gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Chiddell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Shane Mulkerin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chiddell closes the distance and clinches. Chiddell breaks the clinch.
Chiddell jabs at Mulkerin's body. Chiddell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mulkerin wants to slow Chiddell down by chopping away at his legs. Chiddell moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Mulkerin goes down! Can Chiddell finish him!?
Mulkerin is rocked! Chiddell stands up and waves to Mulkerin to follow him. Mulkerin is still on wobbly legs! Can Chiddell finish him? Chiddell misses with a head kick.
Mulkerin seems to have recovered his senses.
