Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Smash Hitter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Algenir Mira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smash Hitter had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Smash Hitter has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mira gets caught flat footed, as Hitter shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hitter won't allow Mira to sweep him here. Hitter content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Mira trying to control the position.
Mira tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hitter pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mira is keeping the position for now. Hitter with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Hitter has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hitter wants to control from the top but Mira keeps moving.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mira closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hitter circles away.
Hitter gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Mira wants to control from the top but Hitter keeps moving. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Mira pushes down on Hitter's leg and manages to get into half guard. Mira perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Hitter misses with some strikes from the bottom.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Hitter is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mira's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mira's back! Hitter lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Hitter.

Mira is stalling in the full guard. Mira stops Hitter from standing up. Mira works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hitter tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Hitter is not content to let Mira control the position. Mira is looking to advance position but Hitter won't allow it. Hitter is breathing heavily.
Mira looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Hitter is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Mira slips a nice elbow through Hitter's hands, connecting with Hitter's forehead. Mira passes to full mount! Mira trying to control but Hitter is having none of it.
Mira looking to secure an arm triangle but Hitter defends it well. Hitter tries to hold on but Mira postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mira with the ground and pound from mount.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Mira lands a nice shot to the head. Mira landing strikes from the mount. A nice elbow there by Mira. Mira moves to back control. Hitter is keeping busy.
Mira is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Hitter won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Mira off his unconscious opponent!

BRYANT darts in and clinches Crack up against the cage.
BRYANT has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Crack regains guard immediately.
BRYANT thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Crack not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Crack trying to control but he's not successful this time. BRYANT tries to reverse the position but Crack maintains control. BRYANT is squirming around, avoiding Crack's attempts to control the action. Crack tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

BRYANT wants to sweep here but Crack controlling him for the moment.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Crack wants to control from the top but BRYANT keeps moving.
BRYANT has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Crack can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. BRYANT is breathing heavily. BRYANT lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Crack! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Crack is trying to escape the mount.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Crack manages to regain half guard. Good work. Crack trying to hold on to BRYANT's head to control him but BRYANT postures up.

 Despite being in the dominant position, Harry Crack just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. BRYANT takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

BRYANT closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Crack has had enough of the clinch but BRYANT keeps him there for the moment. Crack wants to break free but BRYANT has control.

Crack connects with a high kick. Crack throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. BRYANT shoots in for a double leg but Crack sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. BRYANT tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. BRYANT plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Crack is looking to slow BRYANT down with leg kicks. BRYANT tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Crack goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Crack throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. BRYANT avoids the head kick by Crack.
Crack lands a nice leg kick that just misses BRYANT's sensitive parts. Crack throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Crack! BRYANT is out on his feet! Crack rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - BRYANT is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! BRYANT is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Russ Foster! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Alan Glass.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foster avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Liddell keeps the fight on the outside. Foster ducks straight into an uppercut from Liddell and tumbles to the canvas! It�s a flash knockdown though - Foster maanges to regain guard straight away.
 Foster is rocked!
 It looks like Russ Foster has been cut. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Liddell is looking to work some ground and pound but Foster has wrist control. Foster is still in real trouble! Can Liddell finish him? Foster is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Foster seems to have recovered his senses. Liddell showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Liddell won't allow Foster to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Foster preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Liddell wants to control from the top but Foster keeps moving. Foster can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Liddell controls the pace. Liddell wants to pass the guard but Foster is keeping the position. Liddell trying to control the position from guard on top but Foster is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Foster rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Liddell moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Liddell cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Foster is not a happy chappy� he wants out of there.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Liddell putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Liddell sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Foster really wants to buck Liddell off and get back to his feet. Liddell throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Liddell raining down shots from the mount!
