The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie feints and as Paggiaro raises his hands in defense, Gracie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Vuijsje gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Vuijsje had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Putin is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Vuijsje Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Putin's back instead.

Putin manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position.
