The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Steele as Austin shoots in.
Austin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Austin wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Austin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Steele fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Austin, pushing him back against the cage.
Steele jumps into guard, dragging Austin to the mat.
Austin wants to stand but Steele is controlling his posture from full guard.
Steele lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Austin!
Steele wants to finish this one by submission but Austin is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Steele.
Austin is breathing heavily.
Steele has control of Austin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Austin regains control of the situation pretty easily.

No joy there for Steele, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Steele holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
