Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Flako Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don Gazell! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jorge Garcia and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie tries for a takedown but Gazell sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Gracie dodges the punch combination from Gazell.
Gazell loads up on a big right hand but Gracie slips the punch. Gracie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gazell. Gazell tries to clinch there but Gracie circles away.
Gazell fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Gracie checks it well. Gazell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Gracie misses with a two punch combination.
Gracie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gazell swivels and escapes. Gazell fails in his attempt to clinch. Gazell waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Gracie. Gazell misses with a head kick.

Gracie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Don Gazell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gazell throws a left and a right that both miss
and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control. Gazell tries to buck Gracie off but Gracie is having none of it. Gracie wants to control but Gazell is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gazell missing with a left hand there. Gracie was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Gazell plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Gracie has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Flako Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gracie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Gazell throws a head kick that misses and Gracie counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Gazell with a poor takedown and Gracie counters with a three punch combo that has Gazell backing up. Gazell nods at Gracie to acknowledge the strikes. Gazell looks gassed! Gracie displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gazell scores with a decent looking hook. Gracie shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gazell's guard. Gazell working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gracie wants to control from the top but Gazell keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Gazell working a defensive guard but Gracie passes into half guard.
Gazell is staying active underneath Gracie, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gracie with a lazy takedown attempt and Gazell counters with a nice uppercut. Gazell bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gracie's head. Gracie doesn't manage to clinch there - Gazell circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch but Gazell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gazell shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gracie's guard. Gazell trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gracie's guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Gazell trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Gracie trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Gazell content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Gracie has locked up a guillotine! Gracie's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Gazell is holding on here and Gracie must be using up a lot of energy. Gazell has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Gracie gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! K nuckles gets caught flat footed, as Wesson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. K nuckles throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Wesson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. K nuckles is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. K nuckles trying to control the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. No joy there for Wesson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

K nuckles wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wesson keeps working. Wesson is looking for a sweep. K nuckles is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Wesson is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but K nuckles pulls his head out easily. K nuckles wants to control but Wesson is keeping him busy. Wesson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but K nuckles scores with a couple of nice shots. Wesson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of K nuckles's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take K nuckles's back! Wesson is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. K nuckles knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften K nuckles for a finish. Wesson looks gassed! K nuckles trying to control the action but Wesson just sinks the hooks in. Wesson is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. K nuckles has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Wesson has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! K nuckles taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Wesson doesn't care though - he's delighted!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reuger keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Dwing closes this distance looking for a takedown but Reuger circles away. Dwing fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bill Reuger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Duang Dwing. Dwing looks for a takedown but Reuger sprawls well. Dwing shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reuger as he jumps to the side. Dwing moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Dwing throws a right hand that Reuger ducks under and follows up with a left that Reuger also avoids with ease. Dwing misses with a straight right. Dwing tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Reuger swivels and escapes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dwing is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nice takedown defense from Reuger. No joy for Dwing on that attempt. Reuger lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Dwing looks gassed! Dwing fails with the takedown. Bill Reuger is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice sprawl there from Reuger as Dwing shoots in. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Reuger!
Reuger lands with a shot to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dwing drops his hands momentarily and Reuger takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Dwing takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Reuger connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Dwing to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Reuger!

Baldwin cracks Paul with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Baldwin lands a big shot that drops Paul! Can he finish him?
Paul is rocked! Paul isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Baldwin stacks Paul on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Baldwin! Oh Paul is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Paul is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Paul seems to have got his legs back now. Paul is working hard here to advance position.

That sent Paul stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Paul is breathing heavily. Baldwin slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Thomas closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Thomas pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Gamble closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gamble lands in his opponent's guard. Gamble must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gamble drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Conda dives on top into guard. Gamble is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
