The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Lipsanen does no damage. Lipsanen throws a hook but Matata avoids it easily. No joy there for Lipsanen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice takedown defense from Lipsanen. No joy for Matata on that attempt. Lipsanen throws a right and a left that both miss. Matata slips a jab and a cross from Lipsanen.

Matata really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lipsanen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Matata moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Matata shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Lipsanen lands the left hand. Jenkins wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Norris is now in half guard. Norris is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jenkins defends it well. Norris wants to pass the guard but Jenkins is defending well. Norris passes the guard and advances to mount! Norris blocks Jenkins's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
