Clinger walks straight into a right hand from froch - that's dropped him! froch jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Clinger from any more punishment! Clinger complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

I looks like Warming might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Warming tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Natua's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Warming goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Natua is on top in guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salita tries to clinch there but Denn circles away.

Salita feints and as Denn raises his hands in defense, Salita changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Salita wants to pass the guard but Denn is keeping the position.
Denn bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Salita's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Salita avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Salita is trying to keep Denn in close.

Salita is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Salita looking to control.
Denn has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Salita is proving hard to escape from.
Denn with a flurry of punches that miss.

Denn stands up from Salita's guard - Denn perhaps looking for a knockout.
Salita shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Denn as he jumps to the side.
Salita tries to clinch up but Denn circles away and keeps his distance.
Salita shoots in but Denn avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Salita keeps the fight on the outside.

Salita scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Denn manages to get back to half guard.
Denn tries to roll over but Salita keeps him under control.
Denn is working hard here to advance position.
Still in half guard, Salita seems content to control.

Salita wants to control but Denn is keeping him busy.
Denn is in trouble now - Salita has advanced to mount!
Denn tries to hold on but Salita pushes him away.
Denn really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Denn is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Denn is breathing heavily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Salita controlling his opponent.
Salita can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Denn is looking to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Denn wants to control but Salita is having none of it.
Denn is trying to escape the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kolo Salita dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Salita tries to clinch up

and Denn counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Denn.
Salita is trying to stall.
Salita wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salita is working for takedown but Denn is calmly controlling the position for now.

Denn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Salita closes the distance but Denn moves to the side

and Denn counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Salita is trying to keep Denn in close.
Denn looking to pass the guard.
Denn is fighting to break Salita's control of his arms but Salita is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Salita is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Salita keeping moving, preventing Denn from controlling successfully.
Denn would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Denn won't allow Salita to get back to his feet.

Salita looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Salita is breathing heavily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Salita with a lazy takedown attempt

and Denn counters with a nice double leg into side control. Salita won't be happy with that.
Salita dodges the ground and pound from Denn.

Denn working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Salita gets back to half guard.

Denn thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Salita's head.

Denn looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Salita is pressing down on Denn's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Salita is trying to keep Denn in close.

Salita kicks Denn off and gets to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Salita throws a good cross that connects.

Salita gets a takedown into half guard.
Denn is not content to let Salita control the position.
Salita wants to pass the guard but Denn is defending well.
Denn flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

DJ Denn dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


A telegraphed right hand from Denn misses the target.
DJ Denn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Salita shoots and misses

and Denn counters by moving into the clinch.
Salita wants a takedown but no success here.
Denn tries for a takedown. No joy.

Denn manages to break the clinch.
Salita blocks a leg kick.
Denn pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salita has his takedown stuffed

and Denn decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Salita's guard.
DJ Denn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kolo Salita.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Denn stopping the sweep attempt from Salita.
Denn trying to control but Salita is working from the bottom.

Salita working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Denn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Salita is tightening it up a little... Denn has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Denn reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Denn taps out! nice BJJ there by Salita!
