Hamder kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Madonna - Erotica. Nikita Kalashnikov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kalashnikov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hamder managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Kalashnikov.
Kalashnikov works to advance to full mount. Hamder defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Kalashnikov moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Hamder has worked his arm free - good work by Hamder!

Kalashnikov swings around for an armbar but Hamder sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kalashnikov's guard.

Hamder feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mint is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Nguyen is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Nguyen flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Mint anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Nguyen and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Mint slips an arm under Nguyen chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Mint has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Mint is squeezing on Nguyen like an anaconda would it's prey. Nguyen fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Yoshikuni gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Yoshikuni apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Pewterschmidt is working to tighten is grip on Angel's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Angel has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Pewterschmidt is really squeezing tight and eventually Angel passes out! Pewterschmidt breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
