Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chris Schofer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fred Jones! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones moves out of range as Schofer throws a body kick.
Jones walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Schofer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily. Schofer shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense. Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jones scores with a one two! Schofer had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Schofer dodges the punch combination from Jones.
Jones misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Schofer has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jones finds it's way round the side to connect with Schofer's head. Jones moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jones lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Schofer has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Schofer and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Schofer lands with a hook. Jones tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Jones fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Schofer closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Schofer pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Schofer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Schofer has a takedown stuffed. Nice combo by Jones! Oh, that's hurt him - Schofer falls to the canvas and Jones follows him into side control.
 Schofer is rocked! Jones taking a breather here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Schofer manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jones's best efforts. Jones not doing much here.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Schofer is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jones's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jones's back! Schofer missing with strikes.
Jones is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Schofer gets his way!

Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Schofer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jones not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jones throws a nice looking combination but Schofer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jones throws a series of punches but Schofer avoids them all with ease. Jones throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Fred Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Jones's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Jones lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Chris Schofer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jones lands with a left to the head.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bowes moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Bowes doesn't manage to clinch there - Water circles away.
Water wants to clinch. Water throws a series of strikes that have Bowes backpedaling.
Water shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Bowes should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Bowes wants to clinch. Water throws a left that rocks Bowes and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Water dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Bowes regain composure!
 Bowes is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bowes tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Water wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Bowes parries the strikes from Water easily there. Water is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bowes to escape.
Bowes is looking for a sweep. Water trying to control the action but Bowes is working from the bottom. Water in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Bowes is squirming around, avoiding Water's attempts to control the action. Bowes swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Water takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Water is breathing heavily.

Water is figuring out what he wants to do next. Bowes is trying to get back to full guard. Bowes flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Water lands a couple of decent looking shots. Bowes looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Water puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Water looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bowes with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Chris Water overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bowes is looking for a sweep. Water is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Water content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Water wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bowes keeps working. Water is really struggling to control Bowes but he's trying to hold on to the position.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bowes fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bowes fails to land the takedown.
Water shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Water wants to control from the top but Bowes keeps moving.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Bowes throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Water tries to free his leg and advance position but Bowes is retaining full guard. Water stopping the sweep attempt from Bowes. Water slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Water gets to his feet - Bowes follows without any prompting. Bowes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Water paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bowes wants to clinch up but Water keeps it at a distance.
Bowes scores with a takedown into Water's guard. Bowes wants to pass the guard but Water is keeping the position. Water working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bowes.

Fightmaster has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Solmunen's face.
 Solmunen is rocked! Fightmaster lands with some strikes. Solmunen is still in real trouble! Can Fightmaster finish him? Solmunen takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Fightmaster loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Solmunen scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Fightmaster land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Fightmaster stands and salutes the crowd.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hantta throws a right and a left that both miss. Hantta lands a with a good body shot. Gonzales tries to clinch up. Gonzales slips under a jab from Hantta. Hantta misses with a two punch combination.

 It looks like Spede Gonzales has been cut. Hantta drops Gonzales with a left and a right! Oh, Gonzales is hurt - Hantta dives into side control looking to finish!
 Gonzales is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Gonzales is trying to improve his position. Hantta will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hantta stands up and beckons Gonzales to his feet. Hantta circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gonzales should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Gonzales shoots in for a takedown but Hantta shows good takedown defense.
Hantta forces Gonzales back against the cage and clinches. Gonzales lands an elbow inside that Hantta shrugs off. Hantta avoiding damage as Gonzales throws knees to the body.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Hantta lands a hook that snaps the head of Gonzales backwards. Hantta has had enough of the clinch but Gonzales keeps him there for the moment. Hantta presses Gonzales against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Gonzales looks gassed! Gonzales can't break the clinch.
Hantta breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Gonzales closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hantta circles away. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gonzales. Hannu Hantta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spede Gonzales. Hantta misses with a double jab.
Hantta stuns Gonzales with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Hantta throws a nice looking combination but Gonzales bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Gonzales seems to have recovered his senses. Gonzales slips a jab and a cross from Hantta.
Hantta drives through and clinches with Gonzales against the cage.
Hantta wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Gonzales trying to land knees to the body.
Hantta on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hantta manages to break the clinch.
Hantta lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
 The cut above Spede Gonzales's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hantta has Gonzales up against the cage in a clinch.
Gonzales misses with a knee to the head. Hantta pushes Gonzales back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Hantta closes the distance and clinches. Good body shot from Hantta.

 Spede Gonzales's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
