Rabago misses with a double jab.
Newell throws a series of strikes that have Rabago backpedaling.
Rabago throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Newell counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rabago's guard now.
Newell is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Rabago has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Newell is looking to defend but Rabago has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Newell! Rabago pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Newell taps out and this one is all over!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Konbi tries to bum rush Williams with a series of wild strikes but Williams uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Williams wants to lay and pray for a moment but Konbi keeps working.
Williams winds up and cracks Konbi with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Williams shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Konbi as he avoids it easily.

and Williams counters with a three punch combo that has Konbi backing up. Konbi nods at Williams to acknowledge the strikes.
Williams throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Konbi crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

A jab-cross combination lands for Dole and sends Thiel crashing to the mat! Dole follows him down to the mat - Thiel regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
It looks like Dave Thiel has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dole seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Thiel does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Dole lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Thiel quite badly. Thiel pulls Dole in close trying to recover. Dole postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Thiel on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Thiel doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
