and Newell counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rabago's guard now.

Newell is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Rabago has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Newell is looking to defend but Rabago has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Newell! Rabago pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Newell taps out and this one is all over!

It looks like Dave Thiel has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dole seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Thiel does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Thiel has hold of Dole's hands but Dole slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Dole lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Thiel quite badly. Thiel pulls Dole in close trying to recover. Dole postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Thiel on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Thiel doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
