1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dan Hammer! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hammer blocks a head kick by Oregan.
Oregan avoids the body shot from Hammer.
Oregan doesn't manage to clinch there - Hammer circles away.
Oregan tries to clinch but Hammer moves out of range. Hammer avoids the head kick by Oregan.
Oregan tries a head kick but it misses.
Hammer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Oregan's waist but Oregan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hammer off to one side. Hammer misses with a jab, cross combination.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hammer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Oregan loads up on a big right hand but Hammer slips the punch. Oregan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hammer avoids the head kick by Oregan.
Oregan throws a right hand that Hammer ducks under and follows up with a left that Hammer also avoids with ease. Oregan throws a leg kick but Hammer checks it. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Hammer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Oregan pinned against the cage. Oregan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammer gets in close and instigates a clinch. Oregan wants to break the clinch but can't.

Hammer pulls guard effortlessly. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hammer is on top in guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Oregan looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Hammer thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hammer tries to stand but Oregan is controlling from the bottom. Oregan wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Hammer manages to pass to side control.
Hammer seems to be working for a kimura but Oregan defends the submission attempt.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hammer decides to stand and escape the position. Hammer looks gassed! Oregan bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Hammer blocks a head kick by Oregan.
Oregan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Hammer drops his hands momentarily and Oregan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
 Hammer is rocked! Crack! A monster head kick from Oregan and Hammer falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Oregan!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Merkel tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Vickers takes a shot right to the bread basket. Vickers misses with a head kick.
Merkel drops Vickers with a left right combo! Merkel follows him down to the ground into side control.
 Vickers is rocked!
 It looks like Steve Vickers has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Merkel taking a breather here. Oh Vickers is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Vickers is looking for a sweep. Vickers seems to have got his legs back now.
Merkel stands up. Merkel paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Vickers is looking to clinch. Vickers fails in his attempt to clinch. Merkel scores with the left hand. Vickers knows he should have avoided that one. Vickers has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Merkel finds it's way round the side to connect with Vickers's head. Vickers tries to close the distance and clinch but Merkel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Vickers could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Vickers tries to clinch up. Vickers lands with a thumping leg kick.
Vickers is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Vickers lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Vickers wants to clinch up but Merkel keeps it at a distance. A head kick misses from Vickers. Merkel lands a right hook to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vickers looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Merkel swats away the attempt to clinch by Vickers. Vickers throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Merkel moves out of range of the body kick. Vickers looks to land a body kick but Merkel moved away. Merkel avoids the head kick by Vickers.
Merkel keeps the fight on the outside. The fight stays on the outside here - Vickers looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Vickers fails with an attempt to clinch.
Merkel lands with an uppercut that bounces Vickers off the cage and back into rage. Vickers is looking to clinch. Vickers is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Merkel blocks a head kick by Vickers.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Merkel connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Merkel ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Vickers is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Merkel throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Vickers tumbling to the canvas! Merkel showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Merkel gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. A shot to de liver by Merkel. Beautiful body shot. Merkel scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Nice combo by Merkel! Oh, that's hurt him - Vickers falls to the canvas and Merkel follows him into side control. Vickers is looking for a sweep.
Merkel stands up and we're back to a striking position. Merkel digs a good body shot into Vickers's ribs. Merkel sends Vickers crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Merkel is motioning to the referee to let Vickers up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Merkel fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Vickers to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Vickers looks to clinch but Merkel throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Vickers taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coulton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Campbell sneaks back into half guard. Coulton controlling the pace. Campbell is staying active underneath Coulton, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Campbell tries to roll over but Coulton keeps him under control. Coulton is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Campbell throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Campbell is trying to get back to full guard. Coulton trying to mount his opponent but Campbell defends it.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Coulton throws a head kick but Campbell moves out of range.
Coulton throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
 That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Campbell looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Coulton swats away the attempt to clinch by Campbell. Coulton ducks under a wild hook from Campbell. Campbell throws a low kick, looking for Coulton's leg but Coulton calmly moves out of range. Coulton slips under a jab from Campbell. Nice sprawl there from Campbell as Coulton shoots in. Coulton steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Campbell. Campbell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Campbell. Campbell cracks Coulton with an open hand slap. Campbell tries to close the distance and clinch but Coulton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Coulton keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Campbell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Coulton.
Coulton moves into the clinch successfully.
Campbell tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Coulton just stands there and leans against the cage. Coulton lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Coulton takes an elbow to the forehead. Campbell should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Campbell looking for a takedown. Thomas Coulton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Campbell. Campbell tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Coulton takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Campbell tries to advance to mount but can't.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Coulton is trying to improve his position. Campbell has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Coulton!
Campbell is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Coulton can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Campbell has hold of Coulton's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Coulton manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Campbell goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Coulton is on top in guard.
Coulton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Coulton trying to control but Campbell is working from the bottom.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Campbell lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Coulton! Campbell avoids the attempt from Coulton to control. Campbell scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Campbell has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Coulton's face.
Campbell throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Coulton because Campbell loaded up on that one. Coulton is wriggling around trying to escape.
Campbell lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Coulton hang on?

Alex Campbell dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Coulton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Campbell, pushing him back against the cage. Campbell wants to break the clinch but can't.
Campbell jumps guard but Coulton stands there with Campbell around his waist. Campbell gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Coulton drops down looking for an ankle pick but Campbell pulls his leg out and moves away.
Campbell connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Campbell clinches but Coulton breaks the clinch
and Coulton counters by moving into the clinch. Campbell looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Coulton turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Campbell sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Campbell misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Campbell is looking for a sweep. Coulton is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Campbell moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Coulton pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Campbell is keeping the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Campbell is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Campbell striking off his back but it's not causing Coulton any problems. Campbell lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Coulton! Coulton is desperately trying to improve his position but Campbell has a good base and remains in mount. Campbell in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Campbell is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Campbell!

Heemeyer moves into the clinch. Heemeyer lands a nice elbow. Heemeyer misses with a knee to the head. Dungy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Heemeyer has him pressed against the cage.
Dungy is trying to trip Heemeyer. He has hold of a leg but Heemeyer is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dungy persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Heemeyer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dungy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dungy won't allow Heemeyer to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dungy with a flurry of punches that miss.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Heemeyer keeping moving, preventing Dungy from controlling successfully. Dungy tries to stand but Heemeyer is controlling from the bottom. Heemeyer keeping busy, throwing shots from the bottom. Heemeyer trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Heemeyer lands a head kick that stumbles Dungy and the fighters go to the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Heemeyer landing some decent shots from guard. Heemeyer cracks Dungy with a solid left hand. Heemeyer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Heemeyer with a nice head shot there.

Dungy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Heemeyer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dungy tries to strike from the bottom.
Heemeyer is in close to Dungy's body, working some short punches and elbows. Heemeyer is looking to work some ground and pound but Dungy has wrist control.
Dungy has his foot on Heemeyer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Heemeyer works his way back into a safe position though. Heemeyer is working Dungy over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Heemeyer chips away with some ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Heemeyer stands up over Dungy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Heemeyer scoring with punches to the head and body. Heemeyer is pushing down on Dungy's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dungy is fighting to maintain full guard but Heemeyer has managed to sneak the leg through. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Dungy tightens his grip and picks Heemeyer up, before dumping him to the ground. Heemeyer manages to land in guard. Dungy distracts Heemeyer with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Dungy won't allow Heemeyer to sweep him here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Heemeyer wants to improve his position but instead Dungy has moved into half guard.
Heemeyer throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Dungy manages to pass to side control. Dungy takes a little break here. Heemeyer wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Dungy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Heemeyer keeps working. Heemeyer manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Heemeyer works his foot free and advances to mount. Dungy can't escape the position.

Heemeyer postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dungy looks a forlorn figure.

Baker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Baker passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Lukeba! Baker controlling the position easily from mount. Lukeba's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Baker takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Lukeba tries to hold on but Baker postures up. Lukeba is in all sorts of trouble here.
