Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cyclone Major (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and miguel russell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Major might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rock you like a hurricane. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, miguel russell! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Major tries for a takedown but russell sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Major fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Major changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. russell tries to avoid it but Major manages to keep hold of a leg and drag russell to the ground. russell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cyclone Major. That's going to take a lot out of him. russell shoots and misses so Major counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Major is in close to russell's body, working some short punches and elbows. russell looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Major's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Major won't allow russell to sweep him here. russell manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Major manages to get himself to full guard.
Major striking off his back but it's not causing russell any problems. Major throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Major really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Major gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and russell counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Major is breathing heavily. Major throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. russell connects with a nice short shot to Major's temple. russell winds up and cracks Major with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Major won't be happy with that. russell lands some shots froms side control. The ground and pound from russell seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Major is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked russell off and has taken his back! russell rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Major doesn't succeed with the takedown and russell decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Major's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. russell cracks Major with a solid left hand. Major lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cyclone Major will probably get the nod. That's time! Major's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Constanza throws a push kick but Diol slaps the foot to one side. A nice leg kick lands there from Constanza. Diol shoots in looking for a takedown. Constanza tries to sprawl out of it but Diol keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Constanza manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Constanza misses with a wild combination.

McManus drives through with a takedown into guard. McManus trying to control the position from guard on top but Oswald is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Oswald has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes McManus off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Some bone on bone action there as Oswald checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. A bone on bone clash there as Oswald blocks the leg kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Laco is looking to clinch. Flowers will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Laco tries to clinch there but Flowers circles away.
Laco cracks the inside of Flowers's front leg. Flowers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Laco tries to lock up and control but Flowers gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Flowers lands a big shot there that rocks Laco but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Flowers is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Laco is surviving well by controlling Flowers's body position as best he can. Laco throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Flowers jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Laco is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Laco and Flowers has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Laco is looking for a sweep. Laco is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Flowers passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Laco! Flowers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Flowers working for a guillotine from mount but Laco is in no mood to give up. Flowers throwing shots but Laco is blocking nicely. Laco kicks Flowers off and gets back to his feet. Laco closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Laco breaks from the clinch.

Laco misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Flowers gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Laco counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Flowers's guard now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Laco preventing the sweep. Laco really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Flowers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Laco postures up.
Flowers might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Laco advances position into side control! Flowers is not content to let Laco control the position. Flowers sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Laco is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Flowers reverses the position - he's now on top in Laco's guard. Flowers trying to control the position from guard on top but Laco is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flowers forces his way into half guard. Flowers is trying for a kimura here. Laco looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Flowers wins by kimura!
