The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Micheals moves in looking to clinch but garcia pushes him off. Micheals wants to clinch. garcia doesn't manage to clinch there - Micheals circles away.
Micheals keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. garcia feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Micheals's calf. garcia shoots in looking for a takedown. Micheals tries to sprawl out of it but garcia keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Micheals manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. garcia feints and as Micheals raises his hands in defense, garcia changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Micheals has his feet on garcia's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. garcia tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. garcia fails with the takedown. 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mista Tee! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vell's waist but Vell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tee off to one side. Vell throws a sloppy head kick and Tee moves out of range easily. Tee moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Vell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Vell throws a hook but Tee avoids it easily. Tee misses with a double jab.
Vell falls off balance throwing a combination
and Tee counters with a left to the body. Tee tries to close the distance and clinch but Vell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tee throws a wild body kick that Vell sees coming a mile off. Vell throws an overhand right that lands on Tee's shoulder, as Tee tries to avoid the shot. Tee gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Tee wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Vell has him pressed against the cage. Vell tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Tee is working Vell over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Tee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Vell wants to stand up but Tee is controlling him. Tee trying to control the position from guard on top but Vell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Vell preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tee is looking to land body kicks. Tee misses with a kick to the body.

Mista Tee dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A right-left combo lands from Tee. Vell throws a head kick that misses. Tee shoots for a takedown but Vell saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Tee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Vell misses with a combination
so Tee counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Tee postures up.
Tee throws and elbow that misses. Vell uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tee's guard. Nice move by Vell! Tee is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tee pulls Vell in close to his closed guard and prevents Vell from doing any damage or advancing position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vell is one step ahead there. Tee controls Vell momentarily but Vell frees himself. Tee has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Tee controls Vell momentarily but Vell frees himself.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A nice leg kick lands there from Vell. Tee is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Mista Tee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tee thuds his right hand into Vell's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Tee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Tee tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Mista Tee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Nice sprawl there from Vell as Tee shoots in. Casey Vell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mista Tee. Tee dodges the punch combination from Vell.

Tee scores with a takedown into Vell's guard. Tee passes Vell's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Vell wants to get back to his feet.
Tee missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tee trying to mount his opponent but Vell defends it. Casey Vell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mista Tee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Vell is trying to maintain the position but Tee is very close to passing his half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Mista Tee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Tee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Nope, Loca circles away and we're back to standing. Crazy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Loca manages to avoid it. Crazy fails miserably with a takedown attempt. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A lazy left from Need finds it's target. Beta pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Need fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Beta closes the distance and lands a one-two. Need misses with the combination.
Beta swings for the body but Need moves out of range.
Need lands with a right hand. Beta fails in his attempt to clinch. Beta has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Beta there as he acknowledges the shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Beta closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Need jumps guard but Beta stands there with Need around his waist. Need gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Beta takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Need trying to stand up but can't free himself from Beta's guard. Beta wants to stand and escape but Need is having none of it. Need stands up from guard. Let's bang! Nice cross by Need. Need misses with an uppercut. Beta saw that one coming.

Beta is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Beta has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Need uses from the top position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Need won't allow Beta to get back to his feet. Need throws a big right hand that misses. It looks like Nick Daaz has been cut. Norton defending well as Daaz loads up on a big left hand. Daaz misses with an uppercut. Daaz falls off balance throwing a combination
and Norton counters with a good, hard body kick but Daaz shrugs it off. This has been an exciting period of action! Norton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Norton looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Daaz wants to get back to his feet. Daaz keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Norton is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. I looks like Norton might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Blankenship. Blankenship wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Reenulds, who protects the arm well. Blankenship lands some shots froms side control.
It looks like Burt Reenulds has been cut. Blankenship looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Reenulds is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Blankenship is pressing down on Reenulds's thigh, looking to free his foot. Reenulds is holding on for now. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Blankenship lands a nice short elbow. James Allmen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Holt closes the distance and clinches up with Allmen, looking for a takedown. Holt pushes Allmen against the cage but Allmen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Holt looks to score with a jab to the body but Allmen is just out of range. Holt dodges the punch combination from Allmen.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Allmen pushes Holt off and gets back to his feet. Holt connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Allmen momentarily.
