The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pratchett closes the distance and clinches up with Maeda , looking for a takedown. Pratchett pushes Maeda against the cage but Maeda circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pratchett lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pratchett.

It looks like Royce Maeda has been cut.
Pratchett fails to land the takedown.
Maeda keeps the fight on the outside.

Pratchett shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pratchett was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
