The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fauteux tries a head kick but it misses.

Blaze Fauteux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bravoo closes the distance and clinches up with Fauteux, looking for a takedown. Bravoo pushes Fauteux against the cage but Fauteux circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Fauteux tries to close the distance and clinch but Bravoo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fauteux bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Master shoots for a double leg takedown but Spicer sprawls well. He's pushed Master's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Spicer lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Some wild striking there from Spicer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saba fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Horrible takedown by Thompson or perhaps it was just good defense by Saba which made him look bad. Saba pushes Thompson up against the cage in a clinch. Saba breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Thompson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Saba circles away. Saba throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Saba misses with a takedown and Thompson counters with a straight right hand. Erik Saba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
