The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tallikone throws a sloppy head kick and Griffin moves out of range easily.
Tallikone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Griffin swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Griffin fails to land with a series of punches.
Nice combo by Griffin! Oh, that's hurt him - Tallikone falls to the canvas and Griffin follows him into side control.
It looks like Syltty Tallikone has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Griffin tries to advance to mount but Tallikone denies him.

Griffin works to advance to full mount. Tallikone defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Tallikone is bucking up trying to escape but Griffin cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Griffin goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Tallikone turns into him and now he's in Griffin's guard.
Tallikone has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Griffin is proving hard to escape from.

Griffin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tallikone would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Griffin wants to sweep here but Tallikone controlling him for the moment.
Griffin has his foot on Tallikone's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tallikone works his way back into a safe position though.
Griffin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Griffin decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Griffin cracks Tallikone with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
