He's got his arms around McNulty's waist but McNulty gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johansson off to one side. McNulty shoots in and drives through. Johansson sprawls well. McNulty stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Johansson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. McNulty shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Johansson's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McNulty trying to control but Johansson is working from the bottom. McNulty postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. McNulty has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Johansson defend it? McNulty steps over the head and cranks it - Johansson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for McNulty!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Op shoots in but no luck this time. Op closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nyckelben circles away. Nyckelben looks to score with a jab to the body but Op is just out of range. Op shoots for a double leg takedown but Nyckelben sprawls well. He's pushed Op's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Svenne Nyckelben has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Photo Op. Nyckelben stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Allen shoots for a takedown but Poe saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Poe gets a clinch. Allen is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Poe lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Allen has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Poe avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. A short right from Poe. Poe lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Poe comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Poe slows down the pace here.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Allen keeping busy on the bottom but Poe has passed one foot through into half guard.

Edgar Poe dominated that round. The cut man is working on Carl Allen 's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Poe connects with a jab. Allen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Poe is fending him off so far but Allen persists. Nope, Poe circles away and we're back to standing. Allen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Poe is trying to control the position but Allen postures up. Allen wants to control from the top but Poe keeps moving. Poe keeping full guard, as Allen tries to pass. Poe is working an open guard so Allen takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Allen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Poe as he avoids it easily. Allen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Poe to score with a decent uppercut. Allen is rocked! Poe gets to his feet. Allen looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Oh Allen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Poe throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Allen on the side of the head. Allen seems to have got his legs back now. Allen is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Poe. This has been an exciting period of action! Poe throws a head kick that half lands.
Allen shoots in for a double leg but Poe sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Allen . That's going to take a lot out of him. Allen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Poe.
Poe has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Allen misses with a two punch combination.

Allen is working hard here to advance position. Poe trying to control but he's not successful this time. Allen is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Poe avoids the attempt from Allen to control. Poe wants to control the pace but Allen is squirming around nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Poe moves in looking to clinch but Allen pushes him off. Allen shoots in and bounces Poe off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Allen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Poe manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Allen has Poe in his guard. Allen is trying to control the position but Poe postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Allen working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Poe has passed into half guard!
Allen keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Poe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Allen keeps working. Carl Allen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Allen looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Allen wants to get back to full guard.

Tip fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with GracieHunter, pushing him back against the cage. Tip is trying to break free. Tip breaks from the clinch.
Tip clinches. Tip breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tip is looking to clinch. GracieHunter gets a clinch. Tip has had enough of the clinch but GracieHunter keeps him there for the moment. Tip breaks the clinch.

GracieHunter slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Tip prevents GracieHunter from improving position. Tip tries to buck GracieHunter off but GracieHunter is having none of it. Tip sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. GracieHunter wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tip keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. GracieHunter is really struggling to control Tip but he's trying to hold on to the position. Tip is defending against the submission attempts here by GracieHunter.

GracieHunter moves nicely into side control. GracieHunter connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Tip some visible discomfort.
Tip is looking for a sweep. Tip is trying to control GracieHunter's posture but GracieHunter avoids it. Tip prevents GracieHunter from moving into mount. Tip misses with a strike from the bottom. Tip taking punishment in the form of punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. GracieHunter is working to tighten is grip on Tip's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Tip has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but GracieHunter is really squeezing tight and eventually Tip passes out! GracieHunter breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
