1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chalupa Jones! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws a right hand that Smygare ducks under and follows up with a left that Smygare also avoids with ease. Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Smygare shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Jones is looking to get to half guard. Smygare cracks Jones with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Reynolds misses its intended target. Cage avoids a kick to the body.
Reynolds is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Reynolds tries to close the distance and clinch but Cage swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Monty Reynolds seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A big right from Reynolds misses. Reynolds works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
It looks like Jackson Cage has been cut. Reynolds is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cage. Reynolds throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Reynolds is breathing heavily.

Cage is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Reynolds is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Cage cracks Reynolds with a solid left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Reynolds is trying to control the position but Cage postures up. Cage won't allow Reynolds to get back to his feet. Reynolds keeping moving, preventing Cage from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cage trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Cage throwing strikes from guard but Reynolds blocks nicely.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Reynolds throws a nice looking combination but Cage bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Reynolds throws a one two combo.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cage drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. A lull in the action here as Cage stalls from top position. Reynolds is trying to control Cage's posture but Cage avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cage controlling the position from side mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cage's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Cage tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cage tries to pass the half guard into mount. Reynolds knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Cage takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Reynolds gets full guard. Cage is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Cage trying to control but Reynolds is working from the bottom. Reynolds working a defensive guard here.

Jackson Cage overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Cage controlling the action here.

carlson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bat Breaker moves into the clinch. carlson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bat Breaker regains guard immediately. Bat Breaker throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Bat Breaker throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. carlson stands up over Bat Breaker, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. carlson is in close to Bat Breaker's body, working some short punches and elbows. 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Gerry Butler! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butler with a nice cross. Ward will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Burt Ward seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ward takes a shot right to the bread basket. Nice sprawl there from Butler as Ward shoots in. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ward shoots in but no luck this time.
