Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Hicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hicks's choice of entrance music: Bang Your Head. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Alves misses. Hicks moves out of range as Alves strikes. Alves tries to clinch there but Hicks circles away.
Hicks swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Alves shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Alves showed some decent athleticism there. Hicks regains full guard. Nicely done. Alves passes into half guard. Hicks is trying to control but can't.
Hicks tries to get to full guard but Alves has control of the leg. Alves is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hicks tries to roll over but Alves keeps him under control. Hicks moves into full guard.
Alves drops back looking for a leg! Hicks is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hicks manages to kick Alves off! Alves jumps back into Hicks's guard. Hicks uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hicks scores with a crisp jab that stopped Alves in his tracks. Alves takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Alves fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hicks scores with a punch to the head. Hicks throws a series of punches but Alves avoids them all with ease. Alves misses with the combination.
Alves is looking to clinch. Hicks closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hicks lands in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hicks lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Alves wants to sweep here but Hicks controlling him for the moment. Hicks keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Alves's head. Alves looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alves is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hicks tries to free his leg and advance position but Alves is retaining full guard. Hicks controls from within his opponent's guard. Alves working for a triangle but Hicks defends it easily.
Hicks connects with a couple of short punches. Hicks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Alves swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hicks thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hicks tries to free his leg and advance position but Alves is retaining full guard. Alves wants to sweep but no luck. Hicks working some strikes from top position. Hicks advances position into side control! Alves gets back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hicks prevents Alves from improving his position. Ground and pound from Hicks. Hicks working Alves over with strikes. Alves tries to get to full guard but Hicks has control of the leg. Hicks trying to mount his opponent but Alves defends it. Hicks thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Alves's head. Alves is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Alves moves in looking to clinch but Hicks pushes him off. Alves misses with a takedown and Hicks makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Hicks lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Alves wants to clinch and Hicks counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hicks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hicks avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Alves is looking for a triangle but Hicks pushes his legs off easily.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Alves working for a triangle but Hicks defends it easily.
Alves looking for a sweep. Not yet Alves, not yet. Alves looking for a guillotine here but Hicks defends easily.
Hicks connects with a couple of short punches. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hicks looking to pass the guard. Alves has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hicks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bill Hicks will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Hicks scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. The fight stays on the outside here - Alves looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hicks throws a left and a right that both miss
and Alves counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hicks won't be happy with that. Hicks regains half guard. Hicks missing with punches from the bottom.
Hicks is pressing down on Alves's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Hicks manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Hicks scoring with strikes but Alves is staying in there. Hicks lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Alves is rocked! Hicks scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Alves?
Oh Alves is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Hicks swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

I think Corrales might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lets Stay Together - Al Green. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice cross by Corrales. Corrales throws a series of punches but Williams avoids them all with ease. Corrales's corner calls for a 1-2. Corrales obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Williams has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Williams there as he acknowledges the shot. Corrales stuns Williams with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Corrales is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Williams slips a jab and a cross from Corrales.

Corrales has had enough of the clinch but Williams keeps him there for the moment. Corrales wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Williams has him pressed against the cage. Williams landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Corrales lands a hook that stumbles Williams back into the cage. Corrales follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Williams to the canvas! Corrales pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Williams has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marks keeps the fight on the outside. Gonzalez wants to clinch up but Marks keeps it at a distance. Gonzalez clinches with his opponent.

Theo Marks dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Theo Marks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Gonzalez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Marks decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Marks looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Marks with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Marks stalling. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Gonzalez is in trouble now - Marks has advanced to mount!
And that's the end of the fight! Theo Marks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Marks winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
