The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barretta circles away from the clinch attempt.
Darrell misses with a takedown attempt - Barretta sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Darrell's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Barretta is holding on here and Darrell must be using up a lot of energy. Barretta has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Darrell gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Balboa clobbers Mrakomor with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Balboa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mrakomor.
Balboa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Both fighters circling a little - Balboa finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Mrakomor chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Balboa can pounce on him.
Mrakomor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Balboa throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mrakomor counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

da Fiel shoots for a double leg takedown but Rage sprawls well. He's pushed da Fiel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
