2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Juho Pennanen! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abramovich feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Pennanen is working an open guard so Abramovich takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Pennanen tries to clinch but Abramovich moves out of range.
Pennanen scores with a takedown into Abramovich's guard. Pennanen trying to control the position from guard on top but Abramovich is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pennanen tries to free his leg and advance position but Abramovich is retaining full guard.

Pennanen passes Abramovich's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Pennanen wants to take a breather but Abramovich is having none of it.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Abramovich connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Pennanen momentarily.

 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Abramovich fails with the takedown
and Pennanen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Pennanen. Pennanen is looking to work some ground and pound but Abramovich has wrist control. Pennanen wants to pass the guard but Abramovich is keeping the position. Abramovich looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pennanen is one step ahead there. Abramovich pulls Pennanen in close to his closed guard and prevents Pennanen from doing any damage or advancing position. Pennanen wants to control from the top but Abramovich keeps moving. Abramovich preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Abramovich is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Abramovich drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Abramovich wants to stand but Pennanen is controlling his arm. That could spell trouble for Abramovich! Abramovich is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Pennanen tries to control but Abramovich wriggling away.
Pennanen is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Abramovich is surviving well by controlling Pennanen's body position as best he can. Abramovich has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Pennanen has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Abramovich has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Abramovich knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pennanen on the ground.
Abramovich defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Pennanen's arms. Pennanen is trying to stick to Abramovich's back but Abramovich is turning into Pennanen. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Pennanen's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Abramovich.

Pennanen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Abramovich gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Abramovich decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pennanen, up you get! Abramovich gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pennanen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Abramovich's guard. Pennanen passes Abramovich's right leg, so he's now in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juho Pennanen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Pennanen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Abramovich to the mat! Abramovich manages to get full guard. Pennanen throwing strikes from guard but Abramovich blocks nicely. Pennanen sitting in guard here, content to control. Pennanen stops Abramovich from standing up. Pennanen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Abramovich bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Pennanen is trying to improve his position.
Abramovich stands up and we're back to a striking position. Pennanen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Abramovich swats him away and circles back towards the center. Abramovich avoids a kick to the body.

and Pennanen counters with a single leg into guard. Abramovich didn't expect that. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pennanen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Pennanen trying to control the position from guard on top but Abramovich is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Vippera pushes Fedor away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Fedor gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Mannerheim tries to avoid it but Matthews manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mannerheim to the ground. Mannerheim escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bobkoff shoots in looking for a takedown. Larson tries to sprawl out of it but Bobkoff keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Larson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Larson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
 It looks like Ash Larson has been cut. Larson moves out of range as Bobkoff throws a body kick.
Larson drops Bobkoff with a left and a right! Oh, Bobkoff is hurt - Larson dives into side control looking to finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bobkoff wants to control but Larson postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Larson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bobkoff keeps working.
Larson is working to tighten is grip on Bobkoff's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Bobkoff has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Larson is really squeezing tight and eventually Bobkoff passes out! Larson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Mbele closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mbele lands in his opponent's guard. Ottesen looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ottesen controls Mbele momentarily but Mbele frees himself. Mbele lands a couple of decent looking shots. Ottesen is breathing heavily. Ottesen wants to sweep but no luck. Mbele will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ottesen closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Mbele throws a head kick that Ottesen semi-blocks.

Oh, Ottesen has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Ottesen gets to mount! Mbele was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Mbele can't escape the position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Mbele tries to hold on but Ottesen postures up. Ottesen prevents Mbele from getting the reversal. The referee warns Mbele that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mbele tries to reverse the position but Ottesen maintains control. Ottesen lands a big shot there that rocks Mbele but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Scott closes the distance and clinches up with Jazz, looking for a takedown. Scott pushes Jazz against the cage but Jazz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jazz had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Scott is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jazz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Scott's back instead. Scott is taking damage to the body and head. Jazz keeps control of the position as Scott tries to break free.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Lee duly obliges.
 It looks like Opa Lainen has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lainen misses with a hook. Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lainen paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lee is looking to clinch but Lainen is avoiding it.
