The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boy misses with a looping right. A telegraphed right hand from Dollar misses the target. Dollar lands a head kick. Boy smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Boy scores with a takedown into Dollar's guard. Boy trying to control but Dollar is working from the bottom. Boy tries to free his leg and advance position but Dollar is retaining full guard. Dollar wants to control but Boy passes easily into half guard.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Marcondes's guard. Marcondes wants to stand up but Washington is controlling him. Marcondes throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Marcondes manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Washington manages to get himself to full guard.
