Allowin Baaf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Baaf is breathing heavily. Kulmala looks for a takedown but Baaf sprawls well. Allowin Baaf is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Baaf connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Baaf lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Baaf misses with a head kick.

The cut above Jarkko Kulmala's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Jab from Baaf. Baaf scores with a push kick. Kulmala keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Baaf. Baaf thuds his shin into the meat of Kulmala's side. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice uppercut there from Baaf. Baaf connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Jarkko Kulmala's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Baaf misses with a body kick. Baaf lands with a cross.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kulmala takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Kulmala avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kulmala takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kulmala slips a straight right by Baaf. Kulmala takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Kulmala closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Baaf is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Baaf is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kulmala's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kulmala's back! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kulmala has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Baaf controlling the position well here. Kulmala rolled but Baaf kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baaf throws a head kick that misses. A swing and a miss from Baaf. Kulmala dodges the punch combination from Baaf.

Baaf tries a head kick but it misses.
Kulmala fails with the takedown. Allowin Baaf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jarkko Kulmala. Baaf bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Ribbler tries to free his leg and advance position but Blue is retaining full guard. Blue keeping moving, preventing Ribbler from controlling successfully. Blue wants to stand and escape but Ribbler is having none of it. Blue is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blue looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ribbler postures up and lands a big shot to Blue's brow. Blue working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ribbler. Ribbler has gone for a leg lock! Blue slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ribbler's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ribbler has his feet on Blue's thighs here. He's pushed Blue off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Blue screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Vera looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Split looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Split wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vera keeps working. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Split working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Vera is looking for a sweep. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
