Goto comes to the ring accompanied by Replica - Fear Factory. Shogun Silva told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goto tries to clinch up.
Silva has a takedown stuffed.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Goto as he jumps to the side.
Silva throws a right hand that Goto ducks under and follows up with a left that Goto also avoids with ease.
Goto getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

It looks like Shogun Silva has been cut.
Silva looks to land a combination. Goto sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Silva gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Goto has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Goto is posturing up here but Silva has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Goto tries to roll out but it's too tight and Goto has to tap! Slick submission there by Silva!

Arkin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Arkin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Black swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Arkin lands a couple of elbows.
Arkin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Arkin scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

A jab-cross combination lands for Kay and sends Olyanek crashing to the mat! Kay follows him down to the mat - Olyanek regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Kay is working for a submission of some sort.
Kay uses his free foot to push down on Olyanek's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Olyanek.

The fighters land on the ground with Olyanek on top - Kay is already out from the submission! Olyanek gives Kay's pecker the obligatory post submission twist and this one is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall over! Are you kidding me! That is world class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. That guy is my hero!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Butcher connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Joesph tumbling to the canvas! Butcher pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Joesph was done - good stoppage!

Morton connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Rasputin tumbling to the canvas! Morton pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Rasputin was done - good stoppage!
