The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stedmund keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stedmund slips a jab and a cross from Javis.
Stedmund takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Stedmund closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Knees to the body from Stedmund.

It looks like Dace Javis has been cut. Stedmund will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Javis up against the cage. Stedmund is working for takedown but Javis is calmly controlling the position for now. Stedmund looks to throw an elbow but misses. That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Javis wants to control but Stedmund is keeping him busy. Javis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stedmund tries to avoid it but Javis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stedmund to the ground. Stedmund escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Stedmund throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dace Javis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stedmund moves in looking to clinch but Javis pushes him off. Javis swinging wilding here.

Javis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stedmund but Stedmund pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dace Javis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stedmund takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Javis misses with a head kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Javis displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Javis's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Javis duly obliges. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tittles connects with a jab. Salaki looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Tittles misses with an uppercut. Salaki saw that one coming. Salaki throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A telegraphed right hand from Tittles misses the target. A slow jab from Tittles misses its intended target. Salaki with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tittles to score with a decent uppercut. Tittles throws a big shot that misses. Salaki bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Salaki fails to land the takedown. Tittles scores with a jab to the head.
Salaki moves out of range as Tittles strikes. Tittles dips to his left and cracks Salaki with an uppercut! Tittles cracks the inside of Salaki's front leg. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tittles throws a big shot that misses. Salaki defending well as Tittles loads up on a big left hand. Tittles lands the left hand. The fighters circling - Tittles throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Tittles throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Salaki counters with a two punch combo. Tittles lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Tittles looks to land a left hand but Salaki moved out of range nicely. Tittles with a jab. Tittles misses with an uppercut. Tittles throws a hook but Salaki blocks it. Timmy Tittles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tittles sizes up Salaki with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Salaki takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Salaki needs to keep his hands up - Tittles had a free shot at his head there.
Salaki is rocked! Tittles jabbing away but nothing is landing. Tittles scores with a hook. Oh Salaki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This has been an exciting period of action! Tittles throws a looping overhand right but Salaki ducks down to avoid it. Tittles missing with a left hand there. Salaki tries to recover but Tittles is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Salaki lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Horrible takedown by Hamilton or perhaps it was just good defense by Shrimp which made him look bad. Shrimp forces Hamilton back against the cage and clinches. Shrimp has hold of one of Hamilton's legs. Hamilton is fighting the takedown attempt but Shrimp gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Hamilton looking for a sweep. Not yet Hamilton, not yet. Hamilton is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hamilton has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shrimp can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Shrimp creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Shrimp manages to break the clinch.

Hamilton finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Hamilton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shrimp as he jumps to the side. Jason Hamilton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! James Shrimp is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Shrimp has Hamilton up against the cage in a clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! James Shrimp showed his dominance in that final round. Well Shrimp has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
