Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damian Savas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Rubber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savas comes into the arena with Seven Nation Army blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Savas moves in looking to clinch but Rubber pushes him off.
A chopping leg kick lands by Savas.

Rubber drives through with a takedown into guard.

Savas pushes Rubber off and gets back to his feet.
Rubber throws a head kick but Savas moves out of range.
Savas misses with a double jab.
Rubber misses with a head kick.

Savas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Savas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rubber on the ground.
Rubber manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Rubber is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Savas pulls his head out easily.

Savas wants to pass the guard but Rubber is keeping the position.

Savas is posturing up here but Rubber has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Savas tries to roll out but it's too tight and Savas has to tap! Slick submission there by Rubber!

Deck doesn't manage to clinch there - Markov circles away.
Markov throws a right and a left that both miss.
Deck moves in looking to clinch but Markov pushes him off.
Deck wants to clinch up but Markov keeps it at a distance.
Deck tries to close the distance and clinch but Markov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Markov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Deck wants to clinch.
Deck is looking to clinch but Markov is avoiding it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Markov shoots in for a double leg but Deck sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Markov attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Sorin Markov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Warner closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Warner is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mercy is just riding it out for now. Warner eventually gives up the hold.

Mercy has control of Warner's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Warner regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Mercy has hold of Warner's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Warner manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Mercy is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Warner's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Warner's back!
Mercy is trying to stick to Warner's back but Warner is turning into Mercy. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Mercy's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Warner.

Warner postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mercy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Warner, into his guard.

Mercy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Warner, pushing him back against the cage.
Sebastian Mercy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Knight anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Raper and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Knight slips an arm under Raper chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Knight has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Knight is squeezing on Raper like an anaconda would it's prey. Raper fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
