The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winchester shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Winchester is working for a kimura but Quick is defending it quite comfortably.
Quick is looking to escape. Winchester is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Quick defends it well. Winchester not landing any meaningful shots this time. Winchester prevents Quick from standing back up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos rushes Rice and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A nice left hand lands by Santos.
It looks like Kimbo Rice has been cut. Rice is looking to break free of the clinch but Santos has double underhooks. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Santos creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Rice breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Santos moves into the clinch. Santos scores with an uppercut up the middle. Santos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight moves into the clinch position. A quick uppercut on the inside from Santos. Santos lands a hook that snaps the head of Rice backwards. A short right from Santos. Santos gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rice.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nichols tries for a takedown but Crawford sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Nichols fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Crawford misses with a straight left. Crawford misses with an uppercut. Crawford throws a jab when Nichols was well out of range. Nichols could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Crawford digs a good body shot into Nichols's ribs. Crawford throws a hook but Nichols blocks it. Crawford uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nichols has time to react.
It looks like Elijah Nichols has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Crawford avoids the head kick by Nichols.
Nichols blocks a jab. Nichols walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice uppercut lands for Crawford. That snapped Nichols's head back.
Nichols is breathing heavily. Crawford cracks Nichols with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Crawford has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Nichols to stand back up! Crawford lands a brutal uppercut that launches Nichols off his feet! Nichols tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Rollman lands strikes from half guard. Kano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rollman on the ground. Kano tries to kick Rollman off but Rollman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Kano throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from HASTINGS. Jinks thuds his shin into the meat of HASTINGS's side. HASTINGS is breathing heavily. The fighters circle, before Jinks throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into HASTINGS's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Jinks lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pickle throws out a loose jab but Filho uses good head movement to avoid it. Pickle gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Filho gets to his feet. Pickle looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Filho fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Pickle stuffs the takedown. Filho looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paulo Filho. That's going to take a lot out of him. Filho looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Still in half guard, Filho seems content to control. Filho decides to return to a standing position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pickle keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Filho fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Filho changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pickle tries to avoid it but Filho manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pickle to the ground. Pickle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Filho shoots in looking for a takedown. Pickle tries to sprawl out of it but Filho keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pickle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Filho is breathing heavily. Filho fails with the takedown. Pickle wants to clinch. Pickle throws a hook but Filho avoids it easily. No luck for Filho with that takedown attempt. Filho throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pickle's waist but Pickle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Filho off to one side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pickle looks to score with a jab to the body but Filho is just out of range. Filho uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pickle.
Filho shoots in but no luck this time. No luck for Filho with that takedown attempt. Donk. Pickle catches Filho right on the button with a cross. Filho closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Pickle is trying to get back to full guard. Pickle manages to get to full guard.
Pickle bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Filho's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pickle advances to half guard. Pickle trying to control the action but Filho is working from the bottom. Pickle looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Pickle is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Filho is just riding it out for now. Pickle eventually gives up the hold.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Filho makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Filho. Pickle has gone for a leg lock! Filho slips out almost immediately though and dives into Pickle's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paulo Filho dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Filho looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Pickle! Pickle is working to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pickle throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Filho controlling from the full mount. Filho's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Pickle is looking to improve his position but Filho isn't that keen on the idea. Filho controlling the pace for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Filho prevents Pickle from getting the reversal. Filho controlling the pace for now. Pickle tries to lock up and control but Filho gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Filho tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Paulo Filho just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Nice sprawl there from Pickle as Filho shoots in. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Filho has a takedown stuffed. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Poor timing from Pickle. Filho shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Filho showed some decent athleticism there. Pickle wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pickle is looking to control Filho's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pickle avoid being mounted? Filho decides to return to a standing position. Pickle stuffs the takedown. Filho looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Pickle tries to roll over but Filho keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pickle gets full guard. Paulo Filho is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Pickle being controlled here, momentarily. Pickle trying to keep a closed guard but Filho is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Filho stopping the sweep attempt from Pickle. Filho slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Filho passes easily into side control. Nice work.
And that's the end of the fight! Paulo Filho showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Filho, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Smith wants to control from the top but Posey keeps moving. Posey controls Smith momentarily but Smith frees himself. Smith landing with the ground and pound. Posey is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Smith looking to pass the guard. Posey is striking but Smith is not phased and passes to half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Posey is looking for a sweep. Smith is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Posey regains full guard. Nicely done. Smith is stalling in the full guard. Posey wants to sweep but no luck.

Smith jumps back into Posey's guard. Smith postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Smith drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Smith seems to have locked his on tight now - Posey screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Smith, as he picks up the win!

Barbalic regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Holyfield. Holyfield throws and elbow that misses. Barbalic uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Holyfield's guard. Nice move by Barbalic! Holyfield working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Barbalic has passed into half guard!

Holyfield has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Barbalic. Oh but Holyfield has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Barbalic goes limp - he's gone! Holyfield jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
