The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eastmond shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. ass working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Eastmond. ass wants to sweep but no luck. ass keeping moving, preventing Eastmond from controlling successfully. Eastmond lands a couple of decent looking shots. ass working for a triangle but Eastmond defends it easily.

Willson is squeezing on Sanders like an anaconda would it's prey. Sanders fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Abe Goldman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Post Wheat! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goldman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wheat. Wheat takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Post Wheat has been cut. Goldman lands a with a good body shot. Wheat throws a series of punches but Goldman moves out of range. Wheat tries to clinch but Goldman moves out of range. Goldman scores to the head and body with a nice combination! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wheat ducks straight into an uppercut from Goldman and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Wheat maanges to regain guard straight away.
Wheat is rocked! Goldman gets to his feet. Wheat looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Wheat is still on wobbly legs! Can Goldman finish him? Goldman connects with a nice cross there... Wheat is looking wobbly and Goldman recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Wheat to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Goldman jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peroni tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hamilton takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hamilton darts in trying to clinch and Peroni counters with a two punch combo. Peroni blocks a head kick by Hamilton.
Peroni fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Peroni fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Horrible takedown by Peroni or perhaps it was just good defense by Hamilton which made him look bad. Some wild striking there from Peroni.
Peroni throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hamilton's waist but Hamilton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Peroni off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jax Peroni. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hamilton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jax Peroni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Peroni closes the distance but Hamilton moves to the side and Hamilton counters with a shoot takedown. Peroni fights it but they end up in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peroni is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hamilton trying to control but Peroni is working from the bottom. Hamilton thows a big elbow that misses. Peroni looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hamilton is one step ahead there. Peroni utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Peroni not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hamilton must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hamilton is in close to Peroni's body, working some short punches and elbows. Hamilton preventing the sweep.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Peroni shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Peroni is breathing heavily. Hamilton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Peroni's waist but Peroni gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hamilton off to one side. Peroni tries to clinch and Hamilton decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Peroni's guard. Peroni trying to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hamilton throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Peroni works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hamilton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Peroni. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hamilton landing some decent shots from guard. Hamilton is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Hamilton working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Peroni trying to control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Peroni escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hamilton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peroni working a defensive guard here.
Hamilton drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hamilton jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Peroni striking off his back but it's not causing Hamilton any problems.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Hamilton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Peroni paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hamilton swings for the body but Peroni moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Eric Hamilton will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Peroni scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Peroni scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Hamilton shoots for a takedown but Peroni saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Peroni swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Peroni shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Hamilton tries to get back to half guard but can't. Peroni manages to capitalize on a mistake by Hamilton to take his back! Hamilton rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Peroni content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Hamilton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Still in half guard, Peroni seems content to control. Peroni looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Peroni seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hamilton trying to control here.
Peroni trying to control from half guard but Hamilton is working away. Peroni looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hamilton with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peroni stands up from half guard. Peroni misses with a takedown and Hamilton decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Peroni's guard. Peroni wants to sweep but no luck. Hamilton makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hamilton's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Hamilton landing some decent shots from guard. Peroni is trying to keep Hamilton in close.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peroni keeping moving, preventing Hamilton from controlling successfully. Hamilton postures up and lands a big shot to Peroni's brow. Hamilton lands a couple of decent looking shots. Peroni seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Hamilton throwing strikes from guard but Peroni blocks nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jax Peroni will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Peroni gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Peroni tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hamilton swats him away and circles back towards the center. Let's see if Hamilton can do anything to dispel that myth. Hamilton keeping moving, preventing Peroni from controlling successfully. Hamilton striking off his back but it's not causing Peroni any problems. Hamilton is striking but Peroni is not phased and passes to half guard. Peroni prevents Hamilton from improving his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peroni works his way into side control. Hamilton tries to improve position but can't. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Peroni is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hamilton knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Hamilton tries to bench press Peroni off him but Peroni keeps the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Peroni tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Peroni has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Hamilton is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Peroni's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Hamilton controlling the position well.
And that's the end of the fight! Jax Peroni showed his dominance in that final round. Well Peroni has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
