 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thorlix wants to clinch up but Sheen keeps it at a distance. Sheen tries to bum rush Thorlix with a series of wild strikes but Thorlix uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Thorlix looks for a takedown but Sheen sprawls well. Sheen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Thorlix shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Thorlix showed some decent athleticism there. Sheen tries to get to full guard but Thorlix has control of the leg.
Sheen is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Thorlix pulls his head out easily. Thorlix is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

 That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Thorlix accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sheen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Thorlix is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Sheen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Thorlix's back instead. Thorlix is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Thorlix decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Sheen throws a right and a left that Thorlix avoids nicely. Sheen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Thorlix. Thorlix fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A punch combination from Sheen misses. Sheen scores with a crisp jab that stopped Thorlix in his tracks. Thorlix wants to clinch.

 The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sheen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sheen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Sheen is breathing heavily. Thorlix manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sheen manages to get himself to full guard.
Thorlix has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sheen is proving hard to escape from. Thorlix wants to pass the guard but Sheen is keeping the position.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Sheen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Thorlix looking for a sweep. Not yet Thorlix, not yet. Thorlix is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Thorlix has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Sheen off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Thorlix fails with an attempt to clinch.

 That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Thorlix's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Sheen wants to control but Thorlix is keeping him busy. Thorlix really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sheen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sheen in side control lands a decent elbow.
Sheen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Thorlix is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Sheen cracks Thorlix with a big elbow. Sheen looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Sheen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Thorlix with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Sheen is trying to control the action in half guard but Thorlix is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Thorlix taking some punishment here, with Sheen in his half guard. Thorlix is refusing to be controlled, as Sheen sits in half guard. Sheen winds up and cracks Thorlix with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Sheen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Thorlix keeps working.

Thorlix is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Sheen has latched onto it... Big trouble! Sheen pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Thorlix is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Sheen!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vessey just misses with a punch to the body.
Valjean connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Valjean throws a hook but Vessey avoids it easily. Valjean tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Vessey misses with a body kick. Vessey misses with a body shot.
Vessey slips under a jab from Valjean. Nice shot lands for Valjean. Valjean looks to throw the jab but Vessey is out of range. Vessey fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Valjean manages to avoid it. Vessey shoots for a takedown but Valjean saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Valjean connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vessey takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
 Vessey is rocked! Valjean feints and then cracks Vessey's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vessey down. Oh Vessey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Vessey is breathing heavily. Valjean misses with a wild body shot. Nice uppercut there from Valjean. Valjean lands with a big right hook that stumbles Vessey - he's out on his feet here! Valjean follows up with another monster hook that separates Vessey from consciousness! Vessey falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Valjean stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Meredith bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Giovanni's guard. Chico Giovanni is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Giovanni is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Chris Meredith has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Meredith throws and elbow that misses. Giovanni uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Meredith's guard. Nice move by Giovanni!

Julio Amoroso dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Amoroso shoots in looking for a takedown. McGinty tries to sprawl out of it but Amoroso keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McGinty manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Amoroso drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Julio Amoroso overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Amoroso working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. McGinty can't do much from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McGinty throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

McGinty throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Amoroso shoots in but McGinty avoids the takedown attempt easily. McGinty throws a head kick but Amoroso moves out of range.

And that's the end of the fight! Julio Amoroso showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Amoroso, winning every round. Will the judges agree?  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Pain Killer takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. The Pain Killer slips a jab and a cross from Von Barva.

Baron Von Barva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Pain Killer looks for a takedown but Von Barva sprawls well. Von Barva tries a head kick but it misses.

Von Barva uses the oldest trick in the book to send The Pain Killer tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Von Barva is absolutely delighted - when The Pain Killer wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
