The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Senior throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Senior throws a right and a left that Kahn avoids nicely. Kahn moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

A chopping leg kick lands by Senior. Good work by Kahn as he checks the leg kick. Senior ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kahn moves away. Some wild striking there from Senior.

Silva decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Silva is thwarting Stylo's attempts to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Stylo has managed to free his arm - good work. Silva is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Stylo wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Silva.

Bama changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Maloney looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
