Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Vince Nash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, James Miller! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nash fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Miller shoots and misses and Nash counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Miller! Miller is working to get back to half guard.
Nash jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Miller manages to avoid the submission attempt. Nash is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Miller knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Miller manages to work his way to half guard, despite Nash's best efforts. Miller regains full guard. Nicely done. Miller looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Nash pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Miller is keeping the position for now. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Miller looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nash with a nice head shot there. Nash looking to pass the guard. Miller controls Nash momentarily but Nash frees himself. Miller tries to land a sweep but no joy. Miller had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Nash is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Miller Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Nash's back instead. Miller tries to get the hooks in deep but Nash pushed the leg off. Nash is taking damage to the body and head. Nash looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Nash turns into Miller and is now in his guard.
Nash sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Miller's guard. Nash is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Nash scores with a couple of nice shots. Miller gets full guard. Miller has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Nash off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Miller shoots and misses and Nash counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Nash lands a nice short elbow. Miller wants to improve his position but Nash is controlling well.
Miller is in trouble now - Nash has advanced to mount! Miller is wriggling around trying to escape.
Miller tries to hold on but Nash pushes him away. Nash is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Miller can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nash is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Nash prevents Miller from getting the reversal. Miller manages to regain half guard. Good work. Nash wants to work for an arm triangle but Miller is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Nash wants to pass to mount but Miller is defending the position. Miller is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nash's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nash's back! Nash won't enjoy being in this position. Miller looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Nash is tapping - it's over boys! Miller picks up the submission victory!

Chuck Sanchez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is National Anthem. TJ Sanchez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. National Anthem kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I think Lee might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kung Fu Fighting. The crowd seem to be enjoying Sanchez's choice of entrance music: National Anthem. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrei Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Lee wants to control but Sanchez is keeping busy.
Sanchez decides to stand up. Lee gets a clinch. Knees in the clinch landing for Lee.
Sanchez tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Lee lands with a short head shot on the inside. Sanchez tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Sanchez jumps guard and drags Lee to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Sanchez looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lee has picked Sanchez up and slammed him! Sanchez can't keep hold of the triangle and Lee manages to pass to side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sanchez on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Lee stands up and we're back to a striking position. Lee gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Lee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Sanchez using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lee has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off. Sanchez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lee swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lee wants to clinch and Sanchez counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Lee is lucky that one didn't land flush. Lee moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Sanchez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lee pinned against the cage. Lee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch. Sanchez decides to pull guard. Sanchez looking to control.
Sanchez looks gassed! Sanchez utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sanchez throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lee escapes and throws Sanchez's legs to the side, diving into side control! Check out the look on Lee's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee stands up. Lee gets a clinch. Sanchez wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Sanchez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lee smiles and moves away.
Lee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lee stands and steps away. Sanchez gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Lee misses with a body kick. Lee gets a takedown into half guard. Lee wants to pass the guard but Sanchez is defending well. Lee has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee decides to stand and escape the position. Lee closes the distance looking to clinch and Sanchez counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lee! Sanchez looking to secure an arm triangle but Lee defends it well. Sanchez wants to take Lee's back here but Lee is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Sanchez wants to stand but Lee is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Lee missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Sanchez is trying to stand back up but Lee is controlling him
Lee is working for a submission of some sort.
Lee is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lee winds up and cracks Sanchez with a swinging punch to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luka Lee dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Lee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sanchez's waist but Sanchez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lee off to one side. Sanchez throws a head kick that half lands.
Sanchez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Lee has one foot on Sanchez's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Sanchez clinches with his opponent.
Lee cracks Sanchez with a nice body shot. Sanchez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lee throws a sloppy head kick and Sanchez counters by clinching up. Sanchez crunches a lovely knee into Lee's ribcage. Lee throws a knee to the head but misses.
Sanchez keeps control of Lee as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sanchez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sanchez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lee looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Lee is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Sanchez is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Lee has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Sanchez looking for a guillotine from mount but Lee is having none of it. Sanchez moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Lee has worked his arm free - good work by Lee!
Sanchez decides to stand back up. Sanchez steps back and let's Lee get back to his feet. Lee clinches up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez decides to pull guard. Lee pushes down on Sanchez's leg and manages to get into half guard. Lee lands with a punch from half guard. Lee trying to control the pace. Sanchez makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sanchez. Lee would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Sanchez keeping full guard, as Lee tries to pass. Lee wants to control from the top but Sanchez keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sanchez is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Lee dives into side control.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sanchez closes the distance looking to clinch and Lee counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sanchez's guard now. Luka Lee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lee works a leg free and moves into half guard. Sanchez actively working from the bottom here. Lee lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Lee throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sanchez taking some punishment here, with Lee in his half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Andrei Sanchez will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Lee is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Lee stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Sanchez to get to his feet. Lee shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Sanchez moves into the clinch. Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

We're now in half guard. johnson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Petrosyian is just riding it out for now. johnson eventually gives up the hold. Petrosyian knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for johnson on the ground. Petrosyian wants to control but johnson is keeping busy.
