Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tairy Greene! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Blade Fero! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fero showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Greene.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Fero is fighting off a takedown attempt but Greene is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fero to the mat. Fero regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Fero avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Greene throwing strikes from guard but Fero blocks nicely. Fero not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Fero looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Greene trying to control but Fero is working from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fero is on top in guard.
Fero trying to control the position from guard on top but Greene is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Greene looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Fero pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Greene is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Greene had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fero is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Greene Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fero's back instead. Greene throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. You can see the frustration on Fero's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Greene misses with a punch to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fero covers up after that shot from Greene.
I really don't envy Fero right now.
Greene tightening his grip on Fero, looking for the choke. Greene looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Greene has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Greene lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fero wants to escape the position.
Fero is trying to get back to his feet but Greene has full control of the position and if anything, Fero has just worked his way into a worse spot. Greene is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Fero up.
Fero covers up after that shot from Greene.
Greene has the hooks in. Fero is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Greene throwing damaging strikes from the back! Fero could be in trouble here!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Fero prevents Greene from getting a body triangle. Greene is punishing Fero with strikes - can he finish him?! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fero grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Greene is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Fero won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Greene off his unconscious opponent!

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dronjko Black! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Black wants to clinch up but Evans keeps it at a distance. Black fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Evans slips a jab and a cross from Black.
Black uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Evans. Black closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Evans to the mat! Evans manages to get full guard. Black is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Black wants to control from the top but Evans keeps moving. Black trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Evans working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Black doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Black manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Black wants to control from the top but Evans keeps moving. Evans trying to keep a closed guard but Black is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans is really struggling to control Black but he's trying to hold on to the position. Black pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Evans is keeping the position for now. Evans controls Black momentarily but Black frees himself. Evans tries to land a sweep but no joy. Evans pulls Black in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Black gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Evans has his takedown stuffed enabling Black to counter with a crisp jab. Evans shoots and misses and Black counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Evans is breathing heavily. Evans is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Black pulls his head out easily. Evans is trying to control but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Black is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Black seems comfortable defending it but Evans has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Black is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Black is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Evans couldn't care less - he's delighted!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pelican tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sihoven changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pelican looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Pelican is trying to get back to half guard. Sihoven controlling from side mount. Pelican tries to improve position but can't. Sihoven looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Pelican is avoiding damage well.
Pelican struggling a bit here. Pelican tries to buck Sihoven off but Sihoven is having none of it. Pelican wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sihoven throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pelican's waist but Pelican gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sihoven off to one side. Sihoven wants to control the pace but Pelican is squirming around nicely. Sihoven controlling the position easily from mount. Pelican is wriggling around trying to escape.
Sihoven has hold of Pelican's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Pelican manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Pelican is trying to maintain the position but Sihoven is very close to passing his half guard. Pelican is looking for a sweep. Sihoven is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sihoven lands a nice short elbow. Pelican wants to get back to full guard but Sihoven has passed into side control. Pelican is desperately trying to improve his position but Sihoven has a good base and remains in mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sihoven cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Tommi Sihoven showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Sihoven gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Pelican is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sihoven trying to control the position from guard on top but Pelican is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sihoven gets to his feet. Pelican looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Pelican ducks right into an uppercut from Sihoven. A punch combination from Sihoven misses. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pelican.

Pelican postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sihoven is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pelican, into his guard. Sihoven controls from within his opponent's guard. Sihoven stopping the sweep attempt from Pelican. Tommi Sihoven is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Pelican working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Sihoven has passed into half guard!
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Tommi Sihoven. Well Sihoven has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Crisp wants to control but Styrene is keeping him busy. Crisp stands up and beckons Styrene to his feet. Crisp fails in his attempt to clinch. Crisp will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Crisp fails in his attempt to clinch. Styrene scores with a takedown into Crisp's guard. Styrene decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Styrene has managed to clinch.

Crisp is fighting it off but Styrene persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Crisp's guard against the cage. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mac stuffs the takedown. Mac ducks under a wild hook from Bell. Mac lands with a hook. Bell tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Mike Bell has been cut. Mac cracks Bell with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Bell looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mac finish him?
Bell is rocked! Bell leaves his chin hanging out and Mac seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Bell crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
