The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Franklin keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
It looks like Norifumi Yamamoto has been cut. Jab by Franklin. Franklin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yamamoto tries to avoid it but Franklin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yamamoto to the ground. Yamamoto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Yamamoto rushes Franklin and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Franklin managing to block the knees to the body from Yamamoto.
Yamamoto lands a nice knee to the body. Franklin is trying to drag Yamamoto to the mat but Yamamoto just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there. Franklin avoiding damage as Yamamoto throws knees to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shmuck throws a head kick that misses. Cobra tries to clinch up but Shmuck circles away and keeps his distance. Shmuck ducks under a wild hook from Cobra. Shmuck throws a front kick that sends Cobra stumbling back into the ropes. Shmuck stuffs the takedown. The fight stays on the outside here - Cobra looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Cobra shoots in for a takedown but Shmuck shows good takedown defense. Shmuck darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Cobra is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Shmuck's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Shmuck's back!
