Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rich Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Barry Gordan! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Reed Andrews and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gordan paws at him with a jab and circles away. Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gordan's waist but Gordan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side. Gordan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Silva. Silva scores a takedown into full mount! Silva working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Gordan is wriggling around trying to escape.
Silva avoids the attempt from Gordan to control. Silva jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Gordan manages to avoid the submission attempt. Silva working away. Silva tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Silva has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Gordan is looking to reverse the position. Gordan wants to control but Silva postures up. Gordan regains half guard.

Silva is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Silva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gordan is just riding it out for now. Silva eventually gives up the hold. Silva is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Gordan has managed to free his arm - good work. Gordan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gordan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gordan. Gordan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Silva drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gordan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gordan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gordan! Silva takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Silva is looking for a sweep. That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gordan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gordan's back! Silva is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Gordan defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Gordan breaks Silva's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gordan lands a couple of digs. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Silva is looking for a triangle but Gordan pushes his legs off easily.
Gordan stands up over Silva, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Gordan throwing strikes from guard but Silva blocks nicely. Silva throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Silva turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Gordan is looking for a sweep. Silva is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gordan has escaped the position, nice work there. Gordan sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Gordan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Gordan is trying to control but can't.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gordan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Silva has his foot on Gordan's thigh. Silva takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Silva shoots for a takedown but Gordan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Silva with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gordan to score with a decent uppercut. Gordan avoids the head kick by Silva.
Gordan sizes up Silva with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Gordan lands with a big right hook that stumbles Silva - he's out on his feet here! Gordan follows up with another monster hook that separates Silva from consciousness! Silva falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Gordan stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Murko cracks Cricket with an uppercut from hell and Cricket crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Murko's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
It looks like Rickety Cricket has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Murko would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Cricket throws his legs up looking for a submission but Murko uses it to pass to side control.
Murko tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Cricket regains half guard. Cricket looking for submissions off his back. Cricket is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Murko Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Cricket's back instead.

Rickety Cricket is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Murko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Murko goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Cricket looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Murko defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Cricket. Murko is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Woodrow kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Lumberjack Song. 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oren Hunter! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Reed Andrews and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Woodrow wants to clinch. Hunter tries a head kick but it misses.
Hunter throws a big shot that misses. Hunter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Woodrow thows a body shot but no joy. Woodrow misses the jab. Woodrow avoids the head kick by Hunter.
Hunter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Woodrow tries to avoid it but Hunter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Woodrow to the ground. Woodrow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Woodrow throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hunter tries to move into range but Woodrow moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Hunter slips a jab and a cross from Woodrow.
Oren Hunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Woodrow closes the distance and clinches. Hunter misses with a short punch on the inside. Hunter tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Woodrow just stands there and leans against the cage. Hunter tries to pull guard but Woodrow holds him up against the cage and eventually Hunter drops back down to his feet.
Alexander Woodrow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oren Hunter. Hunter has Woodrow pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hunter pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Woodrow tumbling to the mat - Hunter dives into Woodrow's guard. Hunter looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Woodrow trying to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Woodrow looking for a sweep. Not yet Woodrow, not yet. Woodrow is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Hunter looking for submissions off his back. Woodrow is keen to just control but Hunter is a slippery customer. That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Woodrow looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Woodrow is looking to take a break and control but Hunter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Woodrow knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hunter on the ground.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Woodrow misses with a body shot.
Woodrow moves into range and connects with a jab. Woodrow throws a looping overhand right but Hunter ducks down to avoid it. Hunter throws a head kick but Woodrow moves out of range.
A shot to de liver by Woodrow. Beautiful body shot. Woodrow closes the distance and clinches. Woodrow lands with a light punch inside. Hunter jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Woodrow walks away with a smile on his face. Hunter gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Hunter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Woodrow circles away. Hunter looks gassed! Woodrow lands a with a good body shot. Woodrow thuds a left hand into Hunter's body. Woodrow is looking to wear down Hunter with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Woodrow smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A jab from Woodrow finds it's way through Hunter's defenses.
Hunter is rocked! Woodrow closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Hunter! Woodrow dives in looking to finish! Hunter is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
