The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A head kick lands from Isaac that sends Howell to the canvas. Howell tries to scramble back to his feet but Isaac brings him back down into side control.

It looks like Tank Howell has been cut.
Howell is trying to control Isaac's posture but Isaac avoids it.
Isaac tries to move to mount but Howell blocks the move with his legs.
Howell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Isaac wants to control but Howell is keeping him busy.
Howell prevents Isaac from moving into mount.

Howell manages to get back to half guard.
Howell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Howell looks like he's trying to stand up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Isaac wants to lay and pray for a moment but Howell keeps working.

Howell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Seek looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Howell is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Howell seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Seek for as long as he can get away with.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tilow lands a big shot that drops Nowlin! Can he finish him?

It looks like Vincent Nowlin has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nowlin controls Tilow momentarily but Tilow frees himself.

Nowlin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tilow manages to get himself to full guard.

and Nowlin counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Tilow swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A combination from Tilow does no damage.
Nowlin avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tilow clobbers Nowlin with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nowlin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nowlin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tilow stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nowlin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tilow tries to avoid it but Nowlin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tilow to the ground. Tilow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tilow goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Roland Tilow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tilow moves into range and connects with a jab.
Good standup being displayed there by Tilow as he connects with a hook.
Nowlin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tilow moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Nowlin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tilow lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Nowlin backs up against the cage.
Nowlin showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tilow.
Tilow slips a jab from Nowlin.
Tilow lands with an uppercut that bounces Nowlin off the cage and back into rage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tilow throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tilow throws a series of punches but Nowlin moves out of range.
Tilow is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round!Nowlin had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into p�t�.
Good leg kick by Nowlin there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Nowlin throws a series of strikes that have Tilow backpedaling.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nowlin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nowlin tries to clinch there but Tilow circles away.
Tilow works Nowlin's body with a nice hook.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Tilow bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Nowlin's head.
Nowlin lands a head kick. Tilow smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Roland Tilow has been cut.
Tilow lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Nowlin can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Tilow and Nowlin drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Tilow.
