The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wagstaff shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Fedotov should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Wagstaff has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fedotov is proving hard to escape from. Fedotov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wagstaff's guard. Wagstaff keeping moving, preventing Fedotov from controlling successfully. Wagstaff is trying to keep Fedotov in close.
Wagstaff keeping full guard, as Fedotov tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fedotov is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Wagstaff is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Wagstaff is trying to control the position but Fedotov postures up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Fedotov gets caught flat footed, as Wagstaff shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wagstaff keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Fedotov's head. Fedotov had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Wagstaff is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Fedotov Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Wagstaff's back instead. Fedotov has the hooks in. Wagstaff is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Wagstaff is working hard here to advance position. Wagstaff defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Fedotov is persistently looking for the submission but Wagstaff is defending it well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wagstaff is trying to defend against the choke here but Fedotov has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Fedotov Tightens the hold and Wagstaff taps out furiously! Fedotov displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyson throws a right hand that Mendez ducks under and follows up with a left that Mendez also avoids with ease. Mendez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tyson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Mendez is trying to buck Tyson off. Mendez sneaks back into half guard. Tyson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mendez knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Mendez pushes Tyson off looking to stand but Tyson dives back in and keeps control.
Tyson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Mendez scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Tyson manages to mount him!

Tyson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyson lands a heavy elbow. Tyson tries to control but Mendez wriggling away. Tyson throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Tyson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Mendez is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tyson working away from the top, dropping strikes. Mendez working to try and regain half guard.
Mendez is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
BOOM! Tyson connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Tyson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Tyson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mendez for as long as he can get away with. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tyson looking to control but Mendez is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

It looks like Kory Tyson has been cut. Tyson checks a low kick from Mendez. Mendez goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Mendez blocks the body kick.
Mendez misses with a kick to the body and Tyson counters with a flying knee. Nice. Mendez throws a sloppy head kick and Tyson moves out of range easily. Cornelius Mendez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tyson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Mendez swinging wilding here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mendez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tyson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kice throws a leg kick but Parantainen checks it. Parantainen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kice.
Kice keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kice tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Parantainen slips a jab and a cross from Kice.
Kice throws a series of punches but Parantainen avoids them all with ease. Parantainen tries for a takedown but Kice sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kice misses with a few strikes there.
Kice tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Parantainen paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kice fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Parantainen manages to avoid it. Kice takes the fight into the clinch. Kice lands a left hand.

Kice tries to avoid it but Parantainen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kice to the ground. Kice escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kice misses with a hook. Kice misses with a head kick.

Slimbo Kice is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kice tries to bum rush Parantainen with a series of wild strikes but Parantainen uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Parantainen misses with a takedown attempt - Kice sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Parantainen is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kice throws a right and a left that Parantainen avoids nicely. A combination from Kice does no damage. Parantainen fails with the takedown. Parantainen has a takedown stuffed. Parantainen shoots in looking for a takedown. Kice tries to sprawl out of it but Parantainen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kice manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kice fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Parantainen, pushing him back against the cage. Parantainen looking for a takedown. Kice looks to score with a jab to the body but Parantainen is just out of range. Kice has managed to clinch.

He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mendez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mendez gets caught flat footed, as Saliva shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Mendez kicks Saliva off and gets to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from maia. Vector connects with a high kick. maia shoots for a double leg takedown but Vector sprawls well. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cole keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Boyer slips under a jab. Nice takedown defense from Cole. No joy for Boyer on that attempt. Cameron Cole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boyer keeps the fight on the outside. Cole wants to clinch up but Boyer keeps it at a distance. Cole is looking to clinch but Boyer is avoiding it.

Cole fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Boyer looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Cole connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Cole swings for the body but Boyer moves out of range.
