Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nick Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bo Nastie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nastie has chosen Roots Bloody Roots by Sepultura as his entrance music. Bo Nastie struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Nastie!
Nastie tries to clinch but Tucker moves out of range. Tucker looks for a takedown but Nastie sprawls well. Tucker changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nastie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Nastie is looking for a sweep. Check out the look on Tucker's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Nastie is trying to get back to half guard. Nastie defending against the ground and pound. Tucker swings around for an armbar but Nastie sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Tucker's guard. Tucker is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Tucker had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Nastie is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tucker Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Nastie's back instead. Nastie trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Nastie turns into Tucker and is now in his guard.

Maia shoots in for a double leg but Clark sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Maia shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. AJ Clark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Maia. Maia shoots in looking for a takedown. Clark tries to sprawl out of it but Maia keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Clark manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Clark lands a nice leg kick that just misses Maia's sensitive parts. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mastadon lands with a kick to the temple. Tilberg shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Tilberg scores a trip takedown into side control.
