That was a close round but I would say that Ranma Saotome will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Akira Kazama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, David King! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kazama keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
King fails to land with a series of punches.
Kazama staying out of range there. King lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Kazama sprawling to the canvas. King follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Kazama hang on?
Kazama is rocked! Kazama makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kazama. King pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kazama is keeping the position for now. King pushing down on Kazama's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. King is trying to control the action in half guard but Kazama is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. King is trying to work for a kimura but Kazama is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King tries to free his leg and advance position but Kazama is retaining full guard. Kazama keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kazama holds on and takes a little breather. King looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kazama is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kazama will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kazama is on top in guard.
King can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kazama controls the pace. King looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. King utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. King manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kazama manages to get himself to full guard.
King throws a big right hand that misses. Kazama keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully. King trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kazama looking for a sweep. Not yet Kazama, not yet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! King throws a hook to the side of Kazama's head but Kazama sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. King throws a looping overhand right but Kazama ducks down to avoid it. King throws a hook but Kazama blocks it. King connects with a looping right hand.

King clobbers Kazama with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. King drops Kazama with a nice combination! King dives into Kazama's guard, looking to finish!
Oh Kazama is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Kazama keeping full guard, as King tries to pass. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kazama seems to have got his legs back now. King preventing the sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David King dominated that round. The cut man is working on Akira Kazama's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. King misses with a straight right. Kazama throws a big shot that misses. Kazama slips a jab and a cross from King.

King thows a left - swing and a miss! King dips to his left and cracks Kazama with an uppercut! David King is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. King misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
King is breathing heavily. Kazama shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kazama seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. King bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kazama's guard. King takes a decent strike to the side of the head. King preventing the sweep. King trying to control the position from guard on top but Kazama is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kazama is controlling King's posture. Kazama not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

King is looking to advance position but Kazama has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! King is desperately trying to improve his position but Kazama has a good base and remains in mount. Kazama trying to control but King is having none of it. King wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. A nice elbow there by Kazama. Kazama prevents King from getting the reversal. Kazama looking to control but King is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. King is wriggling around trying to escape.

Kazama tries to clinch up but King circles away and keeps his distance. David King seems to be getting the better of the standup. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kazama throws a series of punches but King moves out of range. Both fighters are breathing heavily. King throws a lazy right hand but Kazama sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Nice shot lands for Kazama. Kazama has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. King scores with a one two! Kazama had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

and Kazama counters with a single leg into guard. King didn't expect that. King working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kazama doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kazama manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. King wants to sweep here but Kazama controlling him for the moment. Kazama stands up from King's guard - Kazama perhaps looking for a knockout. The crowd cheers as King lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kazama doesn't seem phased though. Kazama shoots in but King avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Akira Kazama. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by King!
King might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. King waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Kazama. Kazama uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from King. King throws a wild combination but nothing lands. King misses with a series of wild punches.
King is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kazama. King looks to throw the jab but Kazama is out of range. King misses with a low kick. Excellent takedown into side control there by Kazama. King manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kazama's best efforts. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nice strikes from Kazama there.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. King lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Kazama shoots in for a takedown and gets it. King trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

Kazama looking to control and managing it successfully. King wants to control but Kazama is having none of it. King is squirming around, avoiding Kazama's attempts to control the action. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. King is wriggling around trying to escape.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krasnoperov tries to bum rush Vamp with a series of wild strikes but Vamp uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Krasnoperov lands with a hook. Vamp tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Hyde Vamp has been cut. Krasnoperov misses with a two punch combination.
A swing and a miss from Krasnoperov. Krasnoperov throws a combination. Vamp tries to block but a couple of punches get through. This has been an exciting period of action! Krasnoperov looks to land a combination but Vamp avoids it well. Vamp gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Krasnoperov.
Hyde Vamp's cut is getting worse. Vamp fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Krasnoperov manages to avoid it. Krasnoperov drops Vamp with a left right combo! Krasnoperov follows him down to the ground into side control.
Vamp is not content to let Krasnoperov control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vamp wants to get back to his feet but Krasnoperov is dominant here and he's now got Vamp's back! Even with his hooks in, Krasnoperov manages to miss with strikes from the back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krasnoperov wants to control but Vamp is keeping busy. Can Vamp hold on?! Krasnoperov is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Hyde Vamp's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Vamp covering up well under a series of strikes from Krasnoperov. Krasnoperov is throwing shots to the body but Vamp manages to wriggle free. Krasnoperov pounces on him again and ends up in Vamp's guard.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Russo. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Donato Russo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Russo tries for a takedown but Cormier sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Russo is breathing heavily. Cormier is looking to slow Russo down with leg kicks. Russo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A left and a right from Cormier both land. Nice combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cormier drops Russo with a beautiful combination! Russo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Cormier is looking for the KO!

Sol misses with a takedown attempt - Machine sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Sol fails with a takedown attempt. Sol keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Sol loads up on a big right hand but Machine slips the punch. Machine looks to throw the jab but Sol is out of range. A telegraphed right hand from Machine misses the target. Sol shoots in but Machine avoids the takedown attempt easily. Machine jabs Sol right on the nose. Sol blinks but takes it well.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sol. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Machine throws a hook but Sol blocks it. Machine misses with a hook. Sol ducked under it nicely. A telegraphed right hand from Sol misses the target.

Machine throws a combination that misses and Sol counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Machine slips a jab from Sol. Sol misses with a looping left.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sol misses with a looping left. Machine scores with a punch to the head. Machine scores with a jab to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Machine takes a swing at Sol's ribcage but misses. Sol takes a shot right to the bread basket. Machine lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sol at a distance.

Machine connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. A slow jab from Machine misses its intended target. Sol misses the jab. Machine cracks Sol on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Sol falls backwards against the cage. Machine follows up with more strikes that drop Sol to his knees. Machine keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Sol! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Harry Balls! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesper Rush! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rush connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Rush connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Rush swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Balls fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rush manages to avoid it. Rush throws a low kick, looking for Balls's leg but Balls calmly moves out of range. Rush stuffs the takedown attempt from Balls. Balls gets slowly back to his feet. Rush lands a body shot.
Rush connects with a solid leg kick. Rush throws a leg kick but Balls checks it. Balls gets the takedown into side control. Rush tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rush is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Balls in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rush is trying to improve his position. Balls is looking to take a break and control but Rush is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Balls lands some shots froms side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rush tries to get back to half guard but can't. Check out the look on Balls's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Balls is looking to take a break and control but Rush is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Balls throwing strikes but Rush manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

You can see the frustration on Balls's face as Rush controls the position. Balls tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rush wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Rush wants to lay and pray for a moment but Balls keeps working. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rush is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Rush just content to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rush trying to control the position but Balls is working away. Rush cracks Balls with an elbow. That is naaassty. Balls tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rush wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Balls trying to control but Rush flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Balls tries to break free.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jesper Rush will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Balls scores with a jab to the body. Rush does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Rush ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Balls moves away. Rush will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Rush will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Rush connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Rush swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Balls stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rush. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rush misses with a wild combination.

Rush scores with the left hand. Balls knows he should have avoided that one. Rush motions for Balls to come forward. Rush throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Balls checks a leg kick. A slapping leg kick lands for Rush.
Rush's corner calls for a 1-2. Rush obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Balls cracks a nice hook into Rush's ribs. Balls slips a jab and a cross from Rush.
No luck for Balls with that takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Balls throws an overhand right that lands on Rush's shoulder, as Rush tries to avoid the shot. Rush swings for the body but Balls moves out of range.
Rush misses the jab. Rush scores with a leg kick.
Balls throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Rush throws a chopping leg kick but Balls manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Rush pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Balls has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rush finds it's way round the side to connect with Balls's head. Rush throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Balls. Balls misses with a leg kick and Rush connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Balls is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rush measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Balls! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Jesper Rush!
