Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andrea Dilja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tenho Hagert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tenho Hagert struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Peteri isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Alvarez stacks Peteri on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Alvarez!

Peteri feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round but I would say that HooPee Peteri will probably get the nod.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

I really don't envy Peteri right now.

Alvarez is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Peteri has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Alvarez is trying to stick to Peteri's back but Peteri is turning into Alvarez. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Alvarez's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Peteri.

Peteri drops back, looking for a kneebar! Alvarez looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Alvarez looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Alvarez!

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jooseppi Kyrpa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Riseman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jooseppi Kyrpa had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
