These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kimbo Slyce! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cameron Dollar! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Slyce.
Dollar closes this distance looking for a takedown but Slyce circles away. Slyce throws a shot from downtown. Dollar moves away and avoids it. Dollar closes this distance looking for a takedown but Slyce circles away. Slyce throws a lazy right hand but Dollar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Dollar fails with the takedown. Kimbo Slyce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cameron Dollar. Dollar has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dollar there as he acknowledges the shot. Dollar throws a sloppy head kick and Slyce moves out of range easily. Slyce rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dollar moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Slyce lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dollar circles away quickly and effectively. Dollar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Slyce has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dollar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Slyce thows a left - swing and a miss! Dollar shoots in but no luck this time. Dollar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Slyce tries to avoid it but Dollar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Slyce to the ground. Slyce escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dollar fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Slyce throws a right hand that Dollar ducks under and follows up with a left that Dollar also avoids with ease. Slyce throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kimbo Slyce is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Slyce throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dollar. Slyce is breathing heavily. Slyce swinging wilding here.
Slyce misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Slyce throws a nice looking combination but Dollar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dollar tries to clinch up. Dollar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Slyce paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dollar has managed to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dollar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Slyce with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Dollar is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Dollar performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Dollar stands up out of the half guard. Dollar slips a straight right by Slyce. A decent looking body kick lands there for Dollar. Kimbo Slyce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slyce stuffs the takedown. Slyce misses with a double jab.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Slyce will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dollar goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Slyce is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dollar. Slyce misses with a few strikes there.
Dollar shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Well, if Dollar is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Dollar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Slyce is looking to improve his position.

Dollar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Slyce as he jumps to the side. Slyce tries to clinch but fails miserably and Dollar holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Dollar tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Slyce smiles and moves away.

Dollar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kimbo Slyce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cameron Dollar. Slyce throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dollar counters with a good low kick that Slyce was not able to check. Slyce misses with the combination.
Slyce swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Slyce steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Dollar. That one must have hurt. Slyce throws a combination that misses and Dollar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Slyce's guard. Slyce wants to stand up but Dollar is controlling him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Slyce wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Dollar manages to pass to side control. Slyce might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dollar works his foot free and advances to mount. You get the feeling that Slyce really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Slyce bucks up and throws Dollar to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! Slyce is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Slyce's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Dollar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Slyce fights it but they end up in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Slyce doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Dollar is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Slyce is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Slyce has escaped and now he's on top! Slyce is looking to stand up but Dollar won't let him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Slyce missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dollar tries to close the distance and clinch but Slyce swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Slyce misses with a double jab
and Dollar counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Slyce is looking to escape. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dollar connects with a nice short shot to Slyce's temple. Dollar is controlling the pace.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dollar tries to get the hooks in deep but Slyce pushed the leg off. Slyce controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Slyce is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Dollar off. It looks like it's working - Dollar slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Slyce displaying calm under pressure there. Slyce falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dollar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Slyce's guard. Slyce keeping moving, preventing Dollar from controlling successfully. Slyce wants to stand up but Dollar is controlling him. Slyce pushes Dollar off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Dollar darts in and clinches Slyce up against the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Slyce pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. and Dollar counters with a takedown into side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Cameron Dollar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Dollar winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Odinson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Odinson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ruas has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Odinson is working away from the top position though. Ruas had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Odinson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ruas Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Odinson's back instead.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Odinson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Odinson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A punch combination from Takimoto misses. Takimoto lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Takimoto dances in with a quick combination. Rios is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Takimoto snaps Rios's head back. Rios stumbles backwards against the cage. Takimoto steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Rios's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Rios just didn't come prepared.

Miller trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Braud lands a couple of decent looking shots. Yve Braud has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Braud accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Braud passes Miller's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Braud is looking for a kimura here.
