 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bolo tries for a takedown but Solovski sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Solovski keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bolo avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bolo moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Bolo takes a body punch but keeps moving. Solovski scores with a body shot.
Solovski throws a right and a left that both miss. Solovski throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A head kick misses from Solovski. Solovski throws a body punch but Bolo moves out of range. Bolo shoots in but no luck this time. Solovski with a body punch. A glancing blow.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Solovski holds on and takes a little breather. Solovski is looking to stand up but Bolo isn't so interested in that idea. Bolo won't allow Solovski to sweep him here.

Solovski pulls Bolo in close to prevent any damage. Bolo is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bolo tries to close the distance and clinch but Solovski swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bolo shoots and misses and Solovski counters with a one-two to the body. Solovski circles away from the clinch attempt and Solovski cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Decent striking displayed by Solovski there.  That's four minutes gone in the round. Bolo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Bolo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Solovski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Solovski dodges the punch combination from Bolo.
Bolo ducks under a wild hook from Solovski. A head kick by Bolo misses and Solovski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bolo tries for a takedown but Solovski circles away easily and Solovski counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bolo thinking. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Solovski lands with a shot to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bolo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Solovski swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Antoni Solovski seems to be getting the better of the standup. Bolo takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Solovski throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bolo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Bolo tries for a takedown but Solovski circles away easily enabling Solovski to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Manolo Bolo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lebedev looks for a takedown but Beltran sprawls well.
Lebedev shoots in and bounces Beltran off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Lebedev trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lebedev lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Beltran trying to control the position.

Beltran rushes Lebedev and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Beltran tries for a takedown. No joy.

Lebedev is taking damage to the body and head. Beltran punishes Lebedev with strikes from the back mount. Beltran scores with punches to the body. Lebedev is trapped and Beltran is scoring with shots to the head and body. Beltran scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Beltran is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Oooh a big shot gets through from Beltran. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick lands from Jokinen. Lowhanger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jokinen drives through and clinches with Lowhanger against the cage.
Lowhanger breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Deuce Lowhanger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jokinen takes one on the button. Lowhanger throws a leg kick but Jokinen sees it coming and moves out of range. Lowhanger throws a right and a left that both miss. Lowhanger throws a body kick that misses. Lowhanger throws a lazy head kick and Jokinen counters with a leg kick. Jokinen takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Jokinen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jokinen works a leg free and moves into half guard. Oh Lowhanger is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sagat throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sagat cracks Mir with an uppercut from hell and Mir crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Sagat's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
 It looks like Cain Mir has been cut. Mir tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Mir looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mir looking for a guillotine here but Sagat defends easily.
Sagat trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Sagat postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sagat in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Sagat throwing strikes but missing. Sagat tries to stand but Mir is controlling from the bottom. Sagat landing some decent shots from guard. Sagat would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Jeeves Smith will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Marcus Miller's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
