Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Carano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Pumper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Carano might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Naveed. Jeremy Carano has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mac Pumper!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carano shoots for a double leg takedown but Pumper sprawls well. He's pushed Carano's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Carano with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Carano works over Pumper's head and body with a nice combination.
Carano tries to close the distance and clinch but Pumper swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Carano throws a nice looking combination but Pumper bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Pumper closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pumper lands in his opponent's guard.

Pumper tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Carano swivels and escapes.

It looks like Mac Pumper has been cut.

and Carano counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pumper working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Carano doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Carano manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Carano fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pumper shoots in but no luck this time.
Carano tries to clinch but Pumper is having none of it.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Carano!
Carano looks to land a body kick but Pumper moved away.
Pumper shoots in looking for a takedown. Carano tries to sprawl out of it but Pumper keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Carano manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Pumper shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pumper was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Carano wants to control but Pumper is having none of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Pumper shoots in for a double leg but Carano sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pumper shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Carano as he jumps to the side.

Pumper advances nicely into full mount.
Pumper trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Carano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pumper on the ground.
Pumper throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Pumper tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Carano is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Carano manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Carano is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pumper in particular looking to stall.
Pumper works his way into full mount!

Pumper wants to finish this one by submission but Carano is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Pumper.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Pumper has control of Carano's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Carano regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Pumper is standing up, even though he is in mount.

Mac Pumper showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Pumper counters with a shoot takedown. Carano fights it but they end up in guard.

Carano will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Carano isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Pumper stacks Carano on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Pumper!
Pumper misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Pumper is going olschool here, as he tries to force Carano to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Carano shrugs it off.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Pumper fails to advance to Carano's back.
You get the feeling that Carano really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Pumper is looking to work his way around to Carano's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Carano defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Pumper.
Pumper trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Mac Pumper comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Pumper has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Nuss doesn't manage to clinch there - Roll circles away.
Some wild striking there from Nuss.
Roll lands with a right hand.
Roll swats away the attempt to clinch by Nuss.
Nuss fails to land with a series of punches.
Nuss tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Roll paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Roll fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Nuss is breathing heavily.
Nuss shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Roll pinned against the cage. Roll gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Roll clobbers Nuss with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Roll grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Nuss takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Roll cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Noguiera slips a jab and a cross from Villa.
A jab-cross combination lands for Villa and sends Noguiera crashing to the mat! Villa follows him down to the mat - Noguiera regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Roger Noguiera has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Oh Noguiera is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Noguiera shoots in but Villa avoids the takedown attempt easily.

I think Goodridge might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Army Of The Pharaohs-Seven.
