I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Roger Pontare was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michels avoids the head kick by Pontare.
Michels on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Pontare. Pontare obviously looking to wear him down.

Pontare moves into the clinch successfully.
Michels tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pontare smiles and moves away.
Michels shoots in but no luck this time.
Pontare throws a nice looking combination but Michels bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Michels shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Pontare scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Michels takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Michels is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Horrible takedown by Michels or perhaps it was just good defense by Pontare which made him look bad.

Harrision feints and as hawk raises his hands in defense, Harrision changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Vedin Sirovica.
