Halonchi is looking to clinch but Fintherfray is avoiding it.
Fintherfray shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Halonchi as he jumps to the side.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Caerdinn avoids the head kick by Alves.
Alves attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Alves takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

It looks like Goncalo Alves has been cut.
Caerdinn steps into range and cracks Alves with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Alves flops backwards and Caerdinn dives into his guard looking to finish!

Alves is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Alves wants to control but Caerdinn passes easily into half guard.
Oh Alves is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Caerdinn stands up and beckons Alves to join him on the feet.
Alves seems to have got his legs back now.
Caerdinn closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Alves! Caerdinn dives in looking to finish! Alves is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
