Silva dodges the punch combination from Svensson.
Martin Svensson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva tries for a takedown but Svensson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Svensson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Svensson drops Silva with a left and a right! Oh, Silva is hurt - Svensson dives into side control looking to finish!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Antonio Davis.

Johnsso is trying to improve his position.

Fro is trying to get an arm triangle but Johnsso is defending well.
Johnsso is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Fro tries to move into full mount but can't pass Johnsso's legs.

Fro wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Johnsso, who protects the arm well.
Fro is looking to take a break and control but Johnsso is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Johnsso is looking for a sweep.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Johnsso feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Johnsso drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johnsso jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Johnsso is pushing down on Fro's leg trying to pass to half guard. Fro is fighting to maintain full guard but Johnsso has managed to sneak the leg through.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Johnsso is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fro is just riding it out for now. Johnsso eventually gives up the hold.

Johnsso in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Fro tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Johnsso!

J shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Valentine but Valentine pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Valentine and J goes tumbling to the canvas! Valentine follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

It looks like Killa J has been cut.
Valentine trying to mount his opponent but J defends it.

J looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Valentine is taking a breather. J says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Valentine tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
J wants to get back to full guard.
Valentine wants to stand but J has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
J ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Valentine throws a combination but it was largely blocked by J.
Valentine drops J with a straight left! Oh this is bad for J! Valentine dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
