The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ortese tries to clinch up. The fight stays on the outside here - Ortese looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Shapiro gets a clinch. Ortese has had enough of the clinch but Shapiro keeps him there for the moment. Ortese is trying to break free. Ortese could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ortese wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Ortese has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Shapiro lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nice takedown defense from Ortese. And that's the end of the fight! Luke Shapiro comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Shapiro has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blackfoot fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Escobar on the side of the head. Blackfoot tries to clinch there but Escobar circles away.
Blackfoot will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
