The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tom keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Swoop tries to bum rush Tom with a series of wild strikes but Tom uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tom misses with a head kick.
Swoop shoots for a double leg takedown but Tom sprawls well. He's pushed Swoop's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Swoop throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Tom tries a head kick but it misses.
Tom scores with a one two! Swoop had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Swoop tries for a takedown but Tom sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Lesnar feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Oakenshield sprawling to the canvas! Oakenshield rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lesnar finish him?!

It looks like Gimli Oakenshield has been cut.
Oakenshield tries to close the distance and clinch but Lesnar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Lesnar shoots in for a takedown and gets it, with a heavy slam. That will score well with the judges.

Lesnar arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Oakenshield's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
