Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tao Ren! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Avi Agababa! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ren tries to close the distance and clinch but Agababa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ren rushes Agababa and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Agababa is trying to maintain a safe position but Ren gets an underhook and turns Agababa into the cage. Ren lands a right hand. Agababa is trying to drag Ren to the mat but Ren just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Agababa is trying to stall.
Agababa tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ren just stands there and leans against the cage. Ren makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Agababa wants to break the clinch but can't.
Ren scores with a shot to the side of Agababa's head. Ren scores with an uppercut up the middle. Stalling in the clinch from Ren.
Agababa wants to break free but Ren has control.
Agababa decides to pull guard. Agababa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Ren wants to stand but Agababa is controlling his posture from full guard. Agababa is trying to control the position but Ren postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Agababa wants to stand and escape but Ren is having none of it. Ren is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Agababa looking for a guillotine here but Ren defends easily.
Ren knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Agababa on the ground. Agababa is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ren is stalling in the full guard. Agababa had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ren is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Agababa Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ren's back instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Agababa trying to control. Ren really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Agababa working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Ren is doing well to defend. Agababa seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Ren is forced to tap and this one is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Healy circles away from the clinch attempt.
jackson clinches up with Healy and pushes him back against the cage. jackson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Healy has him pressed against the cage. Healy pushes off an throws an elbow but jackson leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. jackson has Healy pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. jackson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Healy tumbling to the mat - jackson dives into Healy's guard. Healy trying to control the position.
jackson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. jackson is looking to clinch. jackson tries to clinch but Healy is having none of it. jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but Healy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but Healy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. jackson tries to clinch up. Healy swats away the attempt to clinch by jackson. The fight stays on the outside here - jackson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Healy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

jackson looks gassed! jackson closes the distance looking to clinch and Healy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. jackson closes the distance and clinches. Healy tries for a takedown. No joy.
Healy tries to pull guard but jackson holds him up against the cage and eventually Healy drops back down to his feet.
jackson wants to break free but Healy has control.
jackson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. jackson displaying some good clinch control by pressing Healy up against the cage. jackson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Healy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Travis Healy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

jackson is trying to drag Healy to the mat but Healy just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Healy stalling in the clinch but jackson improves position. Healy fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Healy lands a body punch in the clinch. Healy goes for a takedown attempt but jackson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Healy tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. jackson just stands there and leans against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Healy crunches a lovely knee into jackson's ribcage. Healy wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
jackson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Healy backwards. jackson wants to break free but Healy has control.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Healy as jackson tries to tie him up. Healy fails to pull guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. jackson throws a knee to the head but misses.
Healy manages to break the clinch.
jackson closes the distance looking to clinch and Healy counters by moving into the clinch. Healy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Healy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming jackson to the mat! jackson manages to get full guard. Healy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Healy landing with the ground and pound. Healy stands and steps away. jackson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Healy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by jackson. jackson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Healy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. jackson throws a combination that misses and Healy counters with a shoot takedown. jackson fights it but they end up in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. jackson is looking to stand up but Healy isn't so interested in that idea. Healy stands and throws jackson's legs to the side, diving into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. jackson gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! You get the feeling that jackson really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Travis Healy dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
jackson closes the distance looking to clinch and Healy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in jackson's guard. Healy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. jackson pushes Healy off and scrambles back to his feet.
jackson looks to clinch and Healy counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for jackson! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! jackson tries to improve his position but instead Healy has taken his back! jackson tries to get to his feet, scrambling wildly. Healy sees the opportunity and transitions to an armbar that forces jackson to tap. Impressive finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Griffin moves away. Roe looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Roe lands a couple of digs. Roe throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roe with a nice head shot there. Griffin wants to stand but Roe is controlling the position. Roe in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Griffin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Griffin trying to control the position here. Roe keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Griffin's head. Roe working some strikes from top position. Roe throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Griffin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Roe working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Griffin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Griffin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Griffin! Roe is trying to control Griffin's posture but Griffin avoids it. Griffin blocks the strikes from Roe.
Roe is trying to get back to half guard. An elbow from Griffin crashes against the mat.
Griffin in side control lands a decent elbow. Roe can't do much from the bottom here. Roe is looking to regain half guard here but Griffin keeps moving and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Griffin wants to stand but Roe has his arm trapped. Roe is looking for a sweep. Roe is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Roe shoots in but no luck this time. Griffin closes the distance and clinches. Griffin manages to break the clinch.

Griffin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Griffin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Roe to the mat! Roe manages to get full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Roe is on top in guard.
Roe wants to control from the top but Griffin keeps moving. Roe advances position into side control! Roe working the body and head with strikes. Roe creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Griffin takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Roe looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iku Roe dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Roe has his takedown stuffed and Griffin counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Roe's guard now. Roe has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Griffin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Griffin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Roe on the ground. Roe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Griffin's guard. Roe thows a big elbow that misses. Roe postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Roe is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Roe postures up.
Roe trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Roe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Griffin swivels though and keeps the full guard. Griffin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Roe stands up over Griffin, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Griffin has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Roe is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Griffin. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Griffin takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Griffin sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Roe scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Roe working the head and body with strikes. Roe looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Griffin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Griffin has hold of Roe's hands but Roe slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Roe takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Griffin on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Roe seems to be working for a kimura but Griffin defends the submission attempt. Roe is taking a breather. Griffin says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roe takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Roe is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Nice strikes from Roe there. Roe scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Roe lands strikes from half guard. Griffin is staying active underneath Roe, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Roe lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Roe is pressing down on Griffin's thigh, looking to free his foot. Griffin is holding on for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Well, if Roe is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Griffin taking some punishment here, with Roe in his half guard. Roe is keen to just control but Griffin is a slippery customer. Roe is thwarting Griffin's attempts to control the position. Iku Roe has got the better of the ground game so far. Roe landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Roe is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Roe slips a nice elbow through Griffin's hands, connecting with Griffin's forehead. Roe works his foot free and advances to mount. Roe connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Roe raining down shots from the mount! A nice elbow there by Roe. Roe trying to control but he's not successful this time. Roe sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The referee warns Griffin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iku Roe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Roe drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Griffin throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Roe cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Roe cracks Griffin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between billy kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). kid has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Jacob Hayes told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barry Cade! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damien Roscoe! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roscoe throws a right and a left that Cade avoids nicely. Roscoe gets caught flat footed, as Cade shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Roscoe wants to get back to his feet but Cade passes into half guard.
Roscoe keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Roscoe has hold of Cade's hands but Cade slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Cade thows a huge punch but Roscoe dodges it nicely.
Cade lands strikes from half guard. Roscoe flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Roscoe misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Roscoe is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Cade blocks the strikes from Roscoe.
Roscoe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cade. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cade prevents Roscoe from standing back up.
Roscoe is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cade shoots in and drives through. Roscoe sprawls well. Cade fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Roscoe. Roscoe tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Cade shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Roscoe as he jumps to the side. A solid body kick from Cade. Roscoe avoids the body shot from Cade.
Roscoe lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Cade sprawling to the canvas. Roscoe follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Cade hang on?
It looks like Barry Cade has been cut. Cade is breathing heavily. Cade keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Roscoe thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Roscoe wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Cade uses the opportunity to regain full guard. Roscoe loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roscoe trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Roscoe working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Roscoe wants to stand but Cade has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Cade trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Roscoe throws a series of punches but Cade avoids them all with ease. Cade with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Roscoe's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Roscoe duly obliges. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Roscoe misses with a jab, cross combination.
Roscoe finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Cade seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Roscoe shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Cade is backing up but Roscoe catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Cade covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Roscoe Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

It looks like Freddy Frito has been cut. Frito throws a head kick that misses and Silva counters by clinching up. Frito lands an elbow just above Silva 's eye.
It looks like Renato Silva has been cut. Frito pulls guard effortlessly. Silva in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Frito not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Frito is looking for a triangle but Silva pushes his legs off easily.
Silva has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Frito is proving hard to escape from. Frito is trying to control the position but Silva postures up. Frito has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Silva should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Frito has tightened it up now! Silva should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
