Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Caleb Bubba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinnie Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bubba comes to the cage accompanied by Step Up, Drowning Pool. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paul clinches up against the cage. Bubba wants to get back to striking at distance but Paul won't allow it.
Paul is trying to stall.
Bubba drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Paul gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Bubba goes for a takedown attempt but Paul pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bubba fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Paul sprawls well initially but Bubba persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Paul trying to control here.

Caleb Bubba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Paul swats away the attempt to clinch by Bubba. Bubba goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Bubba throws a right hand that Paul ducks under and follows up with a left that Paul also avoids with ease. Bubba fails to land the takedown. Paul is looking for a sweep. Paul tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Bubba easily slips into full mount! Paul has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Paul is squirming around, avoiding Bubba's attempts to control the action. and Paul counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bubba tries to close the distance and clinch but Paul swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bubba swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A punch combination from Bubba misses. Paul throws a nice looking combination but Bubba bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bubba shoots for a takedown but Paul saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Paul misses with a takedown attempt - Bubba sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Vinnie Paul comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Paul has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dzagoev fails to land with a series of punches.
Oooh a lovely combination from Dzagoev sends Alexander down but not out. Dzagoev dives into side control looking to finish.
It looks like Jouston Alexander has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Alexander sneaks back into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dzagoev seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Alexander does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Dzagoev trying to control the pace. Dzagoev doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Alexander. Jouston Alexander overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
